Well, here we go again....but with a twist. We had some special animals waiting to ship from Indonesia so we decided to get these imported into Malaysia and to our facility. This was both an experiment to see how long CITES approval takes and will also tell us how long it takes to process re-export paperwork. The journey is only a 2.5hr flight from Jakarta to Kuala Lumpur so there is very little stress on the animals during shipping. We have more of these planned in the future. Some snakes are for the Malaysia retail market, some for myself, some for the USA. Thanks for watching!!!

I don’t know why but it annoys me when people in the comments call them olive pythons, it’s not really a big deal, but he literally said in the video how they are monotypic.

It’s coz they’re way cooler than olive pythons. At least in my opinion they are. Olives are cool but I prefer that big gnarly head the papuans have. And that clean two tone look.
You can’t blame people for calling them papuan olives though as that’s what Dan called em in the video. Most people won’t know what they are so they just go by what Dan called them.

If you haven't seen our farm or unboxing videos, we have been sharing export content for many years. I think we are the only ones that put this type of content out there but I think we are also the only ones that go and manage our business in person.

i 100% agree with you on putting more value on animals based on their background, unfortunately many people take these things for granted in that they just expect to see these things pop up for sale online and when they do pop up they think its too expensive for what it is without knowing how difficult it is to actually get these things on the market (angolan pythons are one that comes to my mind)
A lot of youngsters are in a constant online competition to get the most likes. The ones whose parents are funding their collections usually win. There is so much going on behind the scenes that I don't even talk about it(well I do in my discord). I think most of what I have to say is mostly ignored anyway so I leave it alone.

There are some very complicated laws regarding CITES species in Malaysia which I won't waste time explaining but we had to house those animals in a specific place while waiting for a document to process. They are all now in a different unit and we are still legal....and they are no longer around the sugar gliders and macaws. The next shipment can now legally bypass that facility.

I think if you wanted to spend the money, similar sizes are in the USA. These particular ones are my partner's brand and ship flat but as of yet they are not being distributed in your country(yet).
@@DMExotics thanks Dan! I would be all over it when that time comes. I'm tired of the standard sizes we have available from your big name producers here.... These at least on camera are just amazing in size because I love the extra visibility. Nothing like the standard exoterra or similar we see too often.
@@kab1341 Once that wall is finished later this year, I will do a dedicated video showing all the new features of those cages. I am really happy with them. The flaws you find with the standard brands (locks, hinges, rust, etc) have all been corrected and improved upon.

They are always way longer than what they appear when coupled up or contained in bags.
You’ve got guts pulling out those large scrubs like that 😂. I’d love to get some of those smaller Papuan pythons in the future. Do you bring them to the US to sell or do you normally just get them to fulfill orders?
We have been offering Apodora to the public since I started importing in 2007. We maintain waiting lists, we take pre-order deposits, etc etc

What was the bird sounds in the back ground? Sounded like some birds of prey.
In the beginning we were in a back room in a different building and there was a macaw nearby. In our facility it was feeding day so there were a couple hundred chicks present.

Yes, we are there to work so there are set feeding days and if what we intend to film coincides with those, we will not skip feeding or skip filming. I think we cannot get cancelled for peeping in the background but we also don't make it a practice to film the feeding on this channel.
