Something to add...When i was married, my husband would sometimes not speak to me for weeks. This would usually be because I disagreed with some sort of decision that he made without considering me, his wife. He acted as if I did not exist in front of our children. This was specifically intended as a punishment and to hurt me. He learned this behavior from his parents, as they would not permit his siblings to speak to him when he was little if he had done something "wrong." The silent treatment is often used by people who have personality disorders and it is highly abusive behavior. It is particularly damaging when it occurs in families. You cannot stop someone from behaving this way, nor should you ever tolerate it.

He was super cute with me for months. Then he started to ask me to show him more interest. I started to text him first a little bit more because i thought he was a nice guy but then he ghosted me!! For 3 weeks he didnt text me! I texted him after 3 weeks saying hi, how are you? (I was decided to leave him). We met in person and he confessed that he “ghosted me” because he wanted to see how i was going to react! I have never been low value with him, so this took me by surprise. Of course i left him. He couldn’t believe it, he was very confident because it was me who texted. Wish him the best but far away, his behaviour was too much toxic, i suffered a lot, the pain was insoportable sometimes

If he's waiting 8 weeks he's either testing a reaction or testing other women (or both) and you should keep him silent for good. A man that really wants you won't risk losing you by leaving you alone that long. Know that you are NOT his 1st choice in that length of time.

I am so sick of these toxic games! Why are so many men acting like this…? Truly irritating and exhausting. Truly a time waster hallmark. It’s a NO from me. This is the fastest way to loose me and my respect. Why would I trust a man like this when he starts chasing again? When I relax, then it’s back to square one. The saying goes: When a man shows you who he is, believe him the first time. I have decided I will never initiate first contact again. He sent 2 messages that I didn't see because I turned off the notifications. When I answered I explained about the notifications and told him I was watching a movie. He didn't opened my messages until now. It has been more than 24 hours. His birthday is next Wednesday and we suppose to do a video conference...I don't know what to do if he continues silent until then.

It is LDR and he has ghosted me at least 5x already but he always came back and very apologetic. The relationship is almost 3 yrs now. We havent met in person. But the relationship is very serious. Its been 2 weeks now since he stopped calling me again. He always calls me. I seldom call him. Only when he asks that i should call him. I also dont message him that often.
