i was on my way to switch daws, then quitting but honestly watching a couple of your vids, surprised me & now i'm back motivated. I use garageband bc i don't have a computer but now this solidified the purchase. Im a female producer. thank you for your vids honestly
It really depends on what you need.. Book a quick 15 minute or 1 hour zoom call with me .. I'll def break everything down for you! beatmakingbasics.com
Most would say to always keep the drums in mono and melody in stereo but it honestly depends on the drum sample you use... So you have to listen and see what sounds best... Make sure to also check out my site for more resources and exclusive content!! beatmakingbasics.com
Brother I have the same doubt for days. Did you find a solution? Can we use channel eq again for each instrument while mixing when it asks us to select Plugin - Channel eq - mono or stereo? Coz we have already selected the mono or stereo option while pre mixing as explained in this video. @BeatMakingBasics

How do you know which tracks get mono vs stereo? Do you just choose the top option for each audio fx or is there a way to distinguish whats better?
