The most terrifying aspect of this game is the uncertainty, its the relentless pursuit by the ghost and the concept of no escape even when u are outside. Some things might be broken but the potential this game holds is incredible. even phasmophobia becomes predictable and monotonous after a few times u run the game

Waiting for the ghost to decide to cooperate is only fun while the tense atmosphere lasts, and I think after 150 hours of Phas it's just gone for me. Hunts feel too safe in Phas. Gee, where will the ghost spawn during the hunt? Will they catch me off-guard? Nah they'll just spawn near their room. Hide and be silent. Found a closet? Even safer.

It's hard to pin down what exactly is the trick, but the locations in GHC are just inherently much more.... I'm not sure what the right word is. "Nightmarish", I guess, but in a more literal sense. That is, when I have nightmares, they tend to look more like GHC than Phasmo. Something is just intrinsically more threatening and inescapable than in Phasmo. The gameplay just needs to be more refined a bit, and I hope the devs keep trying.
GHC has a way more interactable setting since you interact with the van more, the house/building/area more, and the ghost included. What it lacks is the optimization, basic fix, and the ghost being more meaningful. GHC needs a lot of fine tuning since it has potential. Phasmo needs that content where GHC excels in which is what the devs are currently doing in order to rework the game from the foundation, mechanics and design wise.
tbh i kind of like phasmophobia better in my opinion, but only thing i like about this game is that you can run. but also with ghost hunter corp is that the ghosts really arent as scary either for some reason, its that phasmophobia some how makes you fear them much better

Here's an idea: What if the ghosts could possess a player body when that player dies? While stumbling around in the dark, I can easily imagine players losing track of where each actual player is, and eventually stumbling into a room with the possessed player without realising it. That would probably be better in larger games where there's five or six players though. Can you imagine how creepy it'd be to hide from one ghost in a small room with another "player", only to turn around and that "player" is now on all fours with their their neck bent to one side and their eyes rolled back in their skull?
I was thinking illusions would be a cool feature too, like seeing the ghost disguised as another player walking around or the other players faces distorting sometimes
You guys should definitely bring a crucifix and a Mary the next time. They can give you around 60s of protection and repell the ghosts. That makes it easier to get the signal reading. Also there are around 4 steps to successfully exercise a ghost. Also also can't wait for the next video of GHC, you guys are hilarious.

Omg this game is soo good... Instead of the feeling of scripted ghosts on phasmophobia these ghosts feel * Alive * and unscripted as if they were doing things like the ghosts on a ghost hunters show or something like that. I got chills at the camera interactions with Drae being a ghost orb.
Igp here's a fast rundown on an idea of what to do. First things first every exorcism item works on every ghost if their is lightning in the cloud it was the right exorcism Second the scanner tools only work of the ghost is in the same room Third if you hold a door closed the ghost cannot get you but eventually the door will break ( yes on your RV aswell) Fourth wards certain ward ward off certain ghosts the Maria statue will be ineffective against anything but the child the crucifix while temporary will shut down everything but the child Finally and most importantly the photo camera ( NOT INSTANT ) has the ability to see the ghost while invisible, ghost orbs, invisible items ( some of which are needed in an exorcism) the camera also helps identify the ghost ( Shadow will always be in the darkest state, child will be shorter, revnent cannot stand, and if its normal its either a poltergeist or a demon) I just wanted you to have this knowledge so the next ghost you encounter you have a fighting chance. P.S. Super sorry its lengthy I tryed to be vague so you still learn and have fun without being told exactly how to do it
It feels like ghosts in this game are much more patient and predator like than phasmophobia. That fact that the first was waiting to attack you while on the ceiling, tapping, luring you to it, that's scary and that's fucking awesome. I like the A.I. in this game.

Each evidence you discover supposedly reveals to you the ways to exorcise the ghost. Figuring out what ghost it is seems to also help reveal exocism methods. You need to perform EACH ONE to completely exorcise the ghost and when you do, you're free to explore the area.

Okay, I had some reservations about this game before, but this is amazing. The scares are so much better than Phasmophobia. Build up could still use some work, but that's about it.
We always save IGP videos to watch at night in bed with the lights off. These guys are the best because they are genuinely scared and not just doing tasks to win the game. Plus it's a great way to make sure your girl is nice and close. How the actual fuck isn't this video trending or whatever? I thought I enjoyed Phasmaphobia videos with these 3, but holy.fucking.shit. this is actually frightening. I might buy a PC just to play this myself.
Honestly, IGP is my go-to for horror games now. I love a good unique horror game, but there's so much trash to wade through before you get to something decent. There are also many other games that have a terrific premise but just don't follow through to make a complete game worth spending the money on to own forever. Watching IGP play these games for 10-30 minutes pretty much satiates my interest in the title, and I can happily move on. 10/10 top recommendation to any fan of the horror genre.

At 18:17, you can see the shadow of a little kid standing right in front of IGP casted on the floor because of the light further down the hallway. Took me a few replays to catch it, pretty cool detail tho that she was just standing right in front of them before screaming and appearing in the same spot the shadow was before coming after them
Love this game. I've played a lot and level 20. Crucifix is your best defense but are expensive. Guns are fun but not the best defense. Ghosts will be aggressive so you can mostly stay at the front door to figure out the ghost type. Once you complete a step, smoke with color will appear. Close and hold doors behind you if ghost is chasing, it will stop most ghosts but can be destroyed if ghost hits alot. Love that your playing this.

In order to correctly exorcize the ghost what you do must have the ghost make a colorful puff of smoke, if its just white smoke its repelling, and remember to place the Marie Statue and the Crucifix in the doorway

He got her. Watch Drae's perspective, the ghost spoofed with color after IGP threw the salt that means the salt exorcism method works and is the correct one. If it just spoofed without any color you just repel the ghost temporarily

Each evidence you discover supposedly reveals to you the ways to exorcise the ghost. Figuring out what ghost it is seems to also help reveal exocism methods. You need to perform EACH ONE to completely exorcise the ghost and when you do, you're free to explore the area.
I love how they're all guiding each other, while none of them actually knows what's going on, lol.

Okay, I had some reservations about this game before, but this is amazing. The scares are so much better than Phasmophobia. Build up could still use some work, but that's about it.

We always save IGP videos to watch at night in bed with the lights off. These guys are the best because they are genuinely scared and not just doing tasks to win the game. Plus it's a great way to make sure your girl is nice and close.

Honestly, IGP is my go-to for horror games now. I love a good unique horror game, but there's so much trash to wade through before you get to something decent. There are also many other games that have a terrific premise but just don't follow through to make a complete game worth spending the money on to own forever. Watching IGP play these games for 10-30 minutes pretty much satiates my interest in the title, and I can happily move on. 10/10 top recommendation to any fan of the horror genre.

At 18:17, you can see the shadow of a little kid standing right in front of IGP casted on the floor because of the light further down the hallway. Took me a few replays to catch it, pretty cool detail tho that she was just standing right in front of them before screaming and appearing in the same spot the shadow was before coming after them

Love this game. I've played a lot and level 20. Crucifix is your best defense but are expensive. Guns are fun but not the best defense. Ghosts will be aggressive so you can mostly stay at the front door to figure out the ghost type. Once you complete a step, smoke with color will appear. Close and hold doors behind you if ghost is chasing, it will stop most ghosts but can be destroyed if ghost hits alot. Love that your playing this.
Also once exercised ambient noises will go away and it will be dead silent inside
If you use the camera find the invisible summoning pentacle and throw a holy water bottle at it to complete the exorcism
