    Nella musica conta più il messaggio che la performance fine a se stessa, per cui non importa se Pogorelich ha perso la memoria.

    Good to hear Sibelius Valse Triste on piano although this is very slow...😕
    When and why does one go from being eccentric to just weird?!
    Didn't Ivo have song written about him:"Thanks for the memory."😊

    His interpretation is so personal
    Pogorelich imdividual art
    May not be according to composers intentions

    2:50 dear Garda, can you explain Why?

    • @Chopin4321
      @Chopin4321 7 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      probably because it distracts him...maybe with the sheet music away from his sight he gets better concentration...who knows...she is there to do that anyway...no problem at all...after all ivo is just a man, a very special and unique one, a genius, who does supernatural music as we can hear here again.

      Javier Serralta, chopin4321 I think you are right, I was curious if there was some special reason (like feng shui or something)

      maybe those little nerves he has just before the first note...sometimes plays with the chair..plays with muses...in order to relax nerves...and in order to get attention and concentration from the audience...genius selfconfidence

    What's wrong with him? He is not the passionate and wild pianist he used to be. :(

      Une horreur ça ??? Pogorelich est un génie, un artiste, un vrai ! Il est bien sur très différent, orignal, extreme, mais joue avec un telle profondeur, beauté et douleur !

      Some people just can't imagine why a bootleg should sound awful compared to a studio recording.

    • @TheSoteriologist
      @TheSoteriologist 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      That's precisely the point. I think his bad reputation on the internet mostly rests on the fact that people just can't imagine why a bootleg should sound awful compared to a studio recording. OTOH, I think IP should maybe counteract that by publishing a new high quality video recording and put it out there for free just to stuff those mouths. One such case is visible as _"Ivo Pogorelich in Nara"_ .

      No, I'm grateful for them. I only wish they were around during the time of Chopin and Liszt.
