I pray she actually applies the lyrics to "Funny" and "Confetti" now and later in her career when she becomes even bigger. I've been a fan since the beginning. I'm happy that her talent is being spread to the world- she is beautiful in and out. I hope she stays that same Tori I knew from the first TH-cam video. She is living proof that all you need is a angelic voice without all the skin hanging out to make something truely beautiful. And I have to give her big props to never giving up when Simon Cowell turned her down. Goes to show how much passion this woman has.

I actually discovered her tonight because I was just curious if someone talked about an "unbreakable smile" concept over the web.
Reason I seeked that is I am a bit fed up with negativity people tend to propagate a bit too much, but even when I feel mega up, proud of decisions I do, happy about how I feel, there will always be couple of events or people that will try to bring me down with some negativities, but they won't break my smile easily!! I choose to be happy, no matter how people can decide to judge me, I know who I am and what I do, if they choose to assume things without verifying, I should not and will not let their wrong assumptions drain my positive energy!!)
That being said, I am not sure what you imply about appearance / sexiness and I have not checked much of her. But people does not necessary need to get naked to be very attractive. I don't think her "beauty" is harming her much. ;-)
As for Simon turning her down... I did not know... I guess it is time to do some search. Not only it shows dedications. People like Simon are there to take decision and love it or hate it, he has left a mark and he has been nicer sometime than his bad reputation. But things like this are hurdle on the road. It does not necessary mean Simon put her down (did not yet see it), but if he did not take her, we should not actually conclude that wa mean. He was only an hurdle along the road.

I think it's because Tori doesn't try to be mainstream. She also barely makes covers anymore and when she does, she doesn't purposefully choose the biggest pop songs out there. She just chooses the music she likes, instead of the masses.

I'm an extremely picky person when it comes to finding good music. At most, there would only be one or two songs I like from each artist. Either the lyrics or the music itself doesn't satisfy me enough which makes me move on to another artist. However, Tori Kelly is probably the first artist that I can call as my all-time favourite. The songs, the lyrics and her sincerity in each performance just blows my mind.
Your voice just isn't calming but your words are so inspiring and has helped/reminded me to be myself and never lose hope in yourself. You're truely amazing Tori.

It's about shock value, marketing, and appeal to the public, that being the millions of teenagers and overall young people who flock to a certain artist or artists because of these "values". Why is Justin Bieber so famous and renowned despite his attitudes and controversies? Because he appeals to teenage girls in terms of looks, updated music, etc. They make him famous. Why do teenage girls love Ariana Grande so much despite her controversies? Because she's pretty, her songs are catchy, sex appeal, image, etc.
Tori deserves to be famous because of raw talent and artistry. The only way to make her bigger than this is "TO MAKE HER FAMOUS". We have the power to spread her music, to make people realize that she is the real deal. Share her music, request it on the radio to maintain her music in the top charts. There are so many talented artists out there who aren't getting the recognition they deserve because their fans aren't as active as wider, bigger fan bases (i.e. Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande). We have the power to make Tori famous. She's already doing her thing by promoting her album, going on tour, appearing on TV. We need to put in the extra work.

Tori Kelly is truly an inspiration. Not only is her voice one of the best there is right now LIVE but the meaning of her songs are stuff people should live by. Not to mention names but there are singers out there that rely on annoying beats and autotune to capture an audience but Tori doesn't need all that. I went to her concert in St Louis, MO. And she is hands down an amazing singer!!! She's so underrated. Her live versions are just a great If not even better then the recorded ones. It was a truly inspirational concert and I love her more and more every day. Was very disappointed she didn't win the Grammy. But I still love and will always love Tori Kelly. Keep up the amazing work Tori! I aspire to be as good as you one day!

This is my absolute favorite song off of the album! I just can't get enough of her voice when it's just her and her guitar. And this song just gets to me on so many levels. Every time I hear it, it just takes me to another place. It goes all the way through my body. I can't really explain it. Her voice is just so raw and beautiful on this song, and you can feel the emotion in every word that she sings.

Yes very deep deep lyrics we all can relate. I have to say this artist gift is so amazing her talents make you gravitate to appreciate her artistry. I am loving her as a musical artist and they are right Tori Kelly is the one to watch. I am watching and loving all her songs and her delivery is so amazing i love her vocal control but most of all her soul sings a beautiful melody that I can't stop listening to Tori :) So thank you for sharing your talents w/us Xoxox Tori Kelly
