    Hi everyone! I started Keto in May '22 when I was diagnosed with T2 Diabetes... I'm 47 years old,5'10'' tall and was 171 lbs...After finding out my diagnoses,I immediately gone full clean Keto and lost 33 lbs under 2 months. My fatty liver was no longer fatty,my sugar levels were normal

    Also my husband has horrible arthritis in his knees and finally , specifically after listening to many of your videos, with how keto helps many with inflammation, he is willing to come on board with me! I’ve been low carb for 3 years and it has had numerous benefits for my health! Thank you Paula 👍👍❄️❄️

    I always have my coffee in the morning!! Occasionally I will add some butter and froth it up but most of the time I just drink it black! I'm loving your channel Paula!! So very helpful!❤️😊

      @@lowcarbrevelation same I just cannot drink black coffee! HWC for me too and Dr Becky Gillaspy has a great channel and have tested blood glucose and ketones and it did not break their fast! Give their channel a look👍👍

    I've been back on Keto since June after almost dying (hospital error) in 2021 and having surgery on my shoulder in April 2022 (as a result of the hospital error leaving me weak, with a PICC line and I blacked out from weakness and fell and completely shredded my bicep and rotator cuff - fun times). I've lost over 80 lbs. I'm a type 1 diabetic, and this is the ONLY way I can eat and not have to inject to cover meals (which give me horrible stomach pains). My Endocrinologist is on board, so no worries there. I've not had one fibromyalgia flair since July. I'm literally 11.2 lbs from my first goal. I have tons of energy now, and am going for 1-2 walks a day. In the next few months, I plan to get back on my spin bike, once I have more range of motion in my shoulder. I LOVE your channel - you're so honest and relatable. So happy I found you.

    The pizza looks amazing!!! When I used to order pizza delivery I always asked they use bbq sauce instead of tomato sauce, to me it gives it an extra kick in flavor. 🙂
    Also I wanted to add regarding weigh loss. I realize that being Keto is a full lifestyle change and look at it as that instead of a "diet." I used to be a bit obsessed with the scale but recently I had the thought, there isn't a rush. It will happen, sometimes slowly but stay the course. It's not, let me hurry up and lose all the weight so I can get back to the unhealthy eating that caused the weight gain and health issues, etc. It will happen when it happens. So far I have seen weight lose and that is without any real exercise. So, now it's time to put the physical work in! Do I still grave my Pop-Tarts and donuts sometimes? YES!!! But so far I haven't had a falling off the wagon so to speak and if I do break my fast, etc it's still with a Keto approved food and/or snacks, etc. and I try not to beat myself up when I do.

    Hi, loving your channel. We have been on Keto life style for over two years now & we love it. Had great results, i have lost 64lb's & hubby has lost a total of 72lb's. We too also fiound with Keto all the aches & pains go. Once you eliminate all processed food from your diet the pain goes because we all know processed food is FULL of toxins, it's the toxins that cause the pain & Inbalance. Your Pizza looked so good, think i will try it soon ( mind you i wouldn't add peperoni to it(that is toxins) I will cook some fresh saucage from the butcher that has no presertvatives in it or some cooked ground lamb or beef & some home made pasta sauce....keep on keto♥

    I always have a double shot Italian black coffee. I allow myself three a day. The rest of the day I only drink water (carbonated). All fruit juices face me a headache so I’ve never drunk them (other than tomato juice)! I have beef mince today for dinner so I am also just about to plan dinner! My first meal was a chaffle topped with mushrooms, bacon and scallion.

    I have 2T of lemon juice and 2T of apple cider vinegar in a 6 oz. glass of hot water first thing in the morningI have done this for quite a while. Tomorrow I am making the pizza for both my husband and me. I know he’ll like this even though he is not fully on keto. Just really like your videos. You make keto so easy. God bless!

    I look forward to your video every morning. I’ve been doing this since December 27. I’m still having some keto flu, but I’ve lost 6 pounds. I’m looking forward to feeling better soon with more energy and less joint pain. Thanks for all the great ideas for meals. I’m doing fasting also 18:6 or OMAD. The fasting is getting much easier and I’m not experiencing much hunger during my fasts. I’m loving eating this way. My hubby also is doing this with me. It just makes so much sense. Thanks for your encouraging videos!

    I put a sprinkle of cinnamon and turmeric in my coffee , cinnamon for years, turmeric just the last month or so … wow wee feel great , only on keto for 1 week

    Every single day I have a nice cup of coffee mixed with a scoop of Trader Joe’s chocolate Keto Collagen powder mixed in. It is soooo indulgent and makes a lovely mocha drink that satisfies me until 11:00 or even noon before I eat breakfast.

    Ooh Paula, I received my results and no thyroid problems so I don’t know what the hair loss was. I love all of the LMNT drinks especially the raspberry, watermelon, orange and have you had the chocolate one delicious. I am not a coffee person but I love herbal teas which most of them I grow them from our little farm here in Wisconsin in the summer time.Thank you so much for sharing another beautiful video.

    Hello. I love Jesus too! I am on day 56 of the keto lifestyle. I did everything to the tee. Very quickly I got off my acid reflux med (I drink apple cider vinegar with water/lemon, 2x/day), I no longer take my bp med. I only needed to drop 20# - I was miserable- I only have about 5-7 more to go which is taking forever. I only eat 4 meals for the entire week (fasting gets me to my goal quicker). I even brought my own meals for Thanksgiving and Christmas 🙂. Definitely isn't hard to stick with keto when your disgust of how you feel and look is greater than a craving. My clothes are loose again! Blessings to you. Keep doing what you are doing and keep the videos coming!

    Another great video. I have coffee in the morning and a electrolyte drink LMNT or Re-Lyte, I also enjoy Ultima electrolyte drink as well. I just finished my first meal of bacon, 2 scrambled eggs (cooked in the bacon grease) and half an avocado. Not sure what my next meal is today since I do have leftovers to eat. I love the fat head dough as well. I haven’t made it in a long time. I am inspired to make my next pizza using fat head dough for the crust. My meal last night was NY strip with a Caesar salad.

    Into my six month on keto.👍 I will be 76 years in March. Tossed my BP meds at end of month one on keto after being on them 20+ years😮
    Weight was 142 now 117 at 5’5”. I started new life style because of insulin resistance. I was having a 4 hour eating window but now enlarged that to 8 hour eating window as I don’t wish any more weight loss. Love your channel, Paula. ❤️

    I love pizza on Joseph’s Lavash flatbread. I find it in the bread Isle at Walmart. That way I have less cheese. Total flatbread 14 carbs.

    I drink decaf coffee with one scoop of Perfect Keto chocolate collagen with two tablespoons of heavy whipping cream. I use a frother to mix. I also take one Perfect keto electrolyte capsule.

    Good Morning! I start my day with one 12 ounce cup of black coffee then i make a gallon jug i have with the time of days on it (Amazon) with water and watermelon LMNT...todays meal I do 18/6 IF is Meal one turkey roll ups with cheese ..Meal 2 : stuffed pepper with cauliflower rice and maybe some greek yogurt plain with cut up strawberry and blueberry (down 5 pounds since last Monday but know its not going to go down like that so I told my husband to hide the scale till Feb. 1st..

    I start my morning with black coffee. I have IBS and so I add a teaspoon of Heather’s Tummy Fiber to my coffee every morning. If you struggle with digestive issues, this fiber is a game changer! 0 net carbs.

    I drink organic bone broth every morning..I started on January 2 2023..my weight is at 159 pounds..my clothing size 10 tight .. no weight lost yet...no body pain relieved yet..love to have the severe chronic inflammation gone..that"s the goal and hope...hugs

      Good luck with your journey. I have basically been eating during a window one time per day with 18-24 hours in between. I eat basically no carbs, just meat, eggs, cheese, no counting calories. Lost 80 pounds with eating what I want and just thinking of myself at this time, as someone who does not eat carbs. This was over a 2 1/2 year period. I had not been on the scale year two and had dropped another 30 without knowing it. I also supplement and have never felt better. I hope you find success on your journey. Peace.

    I have one or two mugs of Mount Hagen Organic Fair Trade Decaf. I add a scoop of grass fed collagen, a little salt, potassium, and powdered magnesium. Then I add some grass fed half n half. The rest of the day I just drink water and try to get down about 100 oz. Your pizza looks wonderful Paula!!

    New subscriber here 😊 and love your videos…that pizza looks delicious. I will try making that for me and my son soon. I usually drink black coffee in the morning bc I can’t have sweet stuff as it gets me sick sadly even though I love sweet stuff. I’ve been trying since the 1st as well to get healthier as I have a lot of health issues. Just found out I have 2 brain aneurysms on top of me just barely almost losing my life from artery aneurysm surgery that went wrong causing me to have heart failure 5x and lose my spleen, have dvt and almost lost my right leg, sepsis too, kidney failure stage 5 and had to be put on emergency dialysis, both lungs collapsed, and on blood thinners for rest of my life with having autoimmune condition so must wear mask for rest of my life and be very careful as well but I will NOT give up. I made it through for some reason and I am determined to get better. I also got back into crocheting since getting laid off so that really has been helping with recovery. I lost 10 pounds so far and haven’t had a headache since! I’m so happy about that bc I usually have migraines every day. Thank you for listening and for making recipes easy to do. 😊❤

      Do you have diabetic kidney disease? Are you finding keto a way of managing it? Are you taking any medications? I have similar health issues. Interested to know what is helping you.

      @@brodie9824 no I don’t have diabetic kidney disease, the dialysis worked and I didn’t have to keep doing it and the doctors called me a miracle bc they really didn’t think I was going to make it but I do have to take metformin for pre-diabetes, eliquis for blood clots, Amlodipine for high blood pressure, Cyclobenzaprine for muscle spasms, topiramate for migraines, famotidine for ulcers, duloxetine for fibromyalgia and anxiety. I hope to get off some of these by loosing weight. I’ve barely started 1/1/23. I feel ok so far, not feeling like I’m super hungry all the time like before I started.

      I really want to stop taking metformin bc it makes me feel sick. I still have have to see oncologist/hematologist and kidney doctor and neurologist. So hoping keto lifestyle will help with this. 😊

    It’s nighttime here in Abu Dhabi so I’m currently getting ready to have a Filipino beef stew called caldereta for dinner. In the morning I have black coffee with a dash of sea salt to cut the bitterness. Sounds crazy but it works! Sometimes I have HWC but I’m trying to cut back on the dairy a bit. Plus it’s a little expensive overseas. Pizza looks good!

      I just finished my black coffee that I make with a pinch of salt. It does help with the bitterness!
      My friend got me on the Keto diet 2 yrs ago. She got me drinking black coffee too! We are 74 yrs old
      so never too old to make changes. I lost 30 lbs in 6 mos, but unfortunately partially went off the diet til now.
      But, I was eating only 2 meals / day with my first meal always a keto meal. I had missed my root vegetables so had a small portion with dinner. I kept these 2 meals 5-6 hrs apart. By doing this, I was able to maintain most of my weight loss. ( up 6 lbs in 18 mos). If I had not eaten this way, I would have gained it all back! So, back on Keto full time now. I want to lose 35 lbs more. I did feel much better when I stayed away from salty processed foods. I was not a sugar fan. I always use pure stevia in my coffee. I am off to the bulk food barn today to get some and to the grocery store to get sone pepperoni and cheese to make a pizza for dinner! Good luck with your weight loss!👏🏻🧑🏻‍🦰🇨🇦

    Love your videos Please add metrics on you recipes Could you just tell me what is a string of butter and string of cheese. Aldi's here in Australia is different from the USA ALDI Such a pity I have no idea what products and condiments to use here.     Oh my gosh! I am so happy I found your channel. I restarted keto January 1st. I did my first round back in 2018 and lost a lot of weight only to gain it all back plus some! Thanks for the motivation. It feels like we are all doing this together! Also curious..I see a lot of people using Redmana salt. I am in Canada and maybe we have it here to and I just haven't seen it but curious what makes it special or so popular?

      I’m going to add a little something about the salt in my video pretty soon because I have so many people asking but it is unrefined salt and it has minerals in it. That is good for your body.

    Every morning I have a steaming hot thermos of bone broth with chicken seasoning, and water with some electrolyte and energy drops. I want salt as soon as I wake up, and once I'm through my broth I'll make some cacao to enjoy for the rest of the morning and into the afternoon. I've been focusing on getting enough water so I'm never without a glass of something next to me whether I'm working or writing or just browsing on the computer. Salts and sufficient water intake are so crucial to my comfort when getting into keto, and I'm already getting better sleep quality.

    Good Morning, I use Super Creamer with my coffee. They have different flavors and it has mtc oil and 0 carbs. I'll try the Fat Head pizza dough recipe, but for ease, I have used Mission Carb Balance tortilla as the crust for thin pizza which I enjoy.😊

      There is now a Zero carb Mission tortilla. I buy them at Walmart and they are really good.

    I have coffee starting about 1:30 am first cup always black. Later in the morning I drink my LMNT and so far the mango chili is my favorite but all are great.

    A problem I face is that - even with clean keto - my body just doesn't want to shift any weight. I probably eat too many calories, but I still get hungry! I know a lot of people magically lose weight without being hungry (and I did too when I first started 20 years ago) but I'm a 62 y/o woman whose body is absolutely certain that there is a famine starting when I drop my calories below maintenance. Its so frustrating!

      Try eating more fat like butter, avocado, bacon, fat from meat don’t trim it off that can be really satisfying and keep you full

    The Pizza looks amazing, I am making that this week. Paula I have been experiencing keto insomnia, do you have any tips to get past it? I was reading some people like me get it due to the lack of carbohydrates meaning my body is starved of L-tryptophan, which prevents my body producing melatonin. I bought some Natural Vitality Calm Sleep, Melatonin, GABA & Magnesium Citrate, Sleep Aid Drink Mix but any tips I would so grateful for. I am in heavy ketosis according to the test strips.

    I hate to be Debbie downer but I was shocked when someone said that the spray, like PAM, is not propelled by air. It's butane, like lighter fluid. I googled it and it came up as true. I threw mine away and will use butter or bacon grease instead. And that pizza looks delicious so will be having that this week.
