After Paris-2024 Olympic games, I was interested in Uta Abe,she is incredible.I firmly believe she will be more strong than now I respect her and like from Uzbekistan
I am not all that familiar with Judo but what you said there that was so obvious that she knows where every inch of her body is all the time and how to Leverage
She is the greatest. Hands down. The precision. The speed. The versatility. The completeness. The control. Magic. Could watch her fight and throw for hours on end. And awe at what I'll never be able to do. Nor anybody else, for that matter. Not remotely.
Wow, her speed and precision is unstoppable. Many winning throws were the same technique so her opponents have to know what is coming, but no matter. There is just no stopping her from doing what she wants to do.
She is using various kind of technics depending on the situation, although the direction is the same. Such as, Uchimata(often used), Morote-zeoi, Ippon-zeoi, Ohgoshi, Ohuchi-gari, Ohsoto-gari and Kesa-gatame. Probably, you can distiguish them by carefully watching how she uses her right leg and arms. This makes Judo more intersting.
Her family name is not pronounced Abe, like Abe Lincoln, but it's Ah-Beh. And her name Uta isn't pronounced like Utah, but it's 'Oo-Ta'. Like in most phonetic languages, Japanese Romaji adopted the way Latin based languages pronounced their alphabets.

Uta Abe didn't like judo when she was in elementary school. She often stuck to utility poles or walls like a cicada to keep from being taken to the Dōjō. On the contrary, her elder brother, 123, had loved judo since he was in elementary school and took it in earnest. But he couldn't fight back at all after being thrown repeatedly by Nami Nabekura, a girl his own age. At the time, no one coulda even imagined that these two would achieve such overwhelming results.
I love watching her judo. I saw her in a few of the Olympics and she has the best hair. I love how she cuts it now and how it frames her face. She's beautiful and a fantastic judoka. What a great representation for the sport.
it seems that merit itself is never enough when it comes to fame. Why does she or he has to be pretty to be really valued ? what her hair has to do with her judo really?

She put too much pressure on herself and it is a coaching problem that should have seen and anticipated this. You have no way to deal with her; if you stand up to attack, she pulls you in from the core. If you bend to protect yourself, she lift your feet and throw you down.
