With the snap on overdenture you say a drawback is the the implants need to be parallel. With overdentures, Not only can you use MUAs but the locator orings allow for quite a large range compensation in addition to extended range options with companies such as Zest. Just like with fixed arch the more parallel everything is especially when you go to restore the easier it is but we all know it’s not always possible. Especially for low compliance patients (often the patients that need full arch implants) overdentures allow for much better implant maintaince and longevity of impants in cases where fixed could be a huge problem. I am curious, I imagine you do some overdenture cases in your practice. My guess would be mostly for lower arch - two implant overdenture due to cost. I am not in any way saying there is no place for fixed. I get the sense that we are all a little biased as practitioners if we end up doing certain procedures more often than others. I noticed most of your videos are leaning towards all on four. I had my 4 implants and a full arch zirconia bridge with no pinks, but only up to my premolars, i still have my natural molars, i have a low smile so no gums are showing, my question is, have you encounter a patient with good bone density and already done a full arch zirconia bridge without pink gums? and what is your taking on cementing a zirconia bridge on 4 implants? will it be more stronger and solid? I realized most of your implants here in the US uses screws insted of cement. What is your taking about it?
