No it seriously is from the production, real r&b vibes, to straight hip hop vibes. It has everything you want in a album and let’s not forget it was something we haven’t seen before
For our generation potential picks are: - Trilogy by The Weeknd - Channel Orange by Frank Ocean - “Awaken, My Love!” by Childish Gambino - Isolation by Kali Uchis - Lemonade by Beyoncé - Dirty Computer by Janelle Monáe - Ctrl by SZA - Process by Sampha - FREE6LACK by 6LACK - Royalty by Chris Brown - Kaleidoscope Dream by Miguel - Take Care by Drake Edit: remember this is MY opinion
I don't think people even realize how good this guy's music is yet, he's definitely still underappreciated in my eyes. And people don't seem to understand how good even his 2017 album is, also so is his newest one. Yes this is still gonna be my favorite album mostly for nostalgia purposes, but I feel like when I let my feelings go, I remember when high stakes came on randomly when I was driving on my playlist and I was blown away with how good the song is. Then I relistened to the whole album and was incredibly impressed.
I came across this album on TH-cam accidentally 3-5 minutes after it was uploaded & the views were around 200. Never heard of Bryson but I said whatever and listened to his entire album start to finish. Shit is flames. Not a single song I could skip.
Now literally every song on Trapsoul has over 1 million views on YT, and they're not even videos lol. Similar situation happened to me with Jaqueese, Summer Walker, Ari Lenox and Tory Lanez albums all around the same few months in 2019. I wasn't a huge fan of either artist before that but was just bored. Tone Stith was an important and almost skipped suggestion from Tidal. The only reason I didn't skip his song FWM was because I was backing out of my parking spot so I had to listen and got trapped in his falsettos 😂
I’m yelling y’all when u listen to intro the transition to “let em know” is so soothing. Like I just noticed it a few months ago. I never noticed how smooth it was in 2015 until I actually listened to both songs in order
“Waiting on a sign guess it’s time for a different prayer.” One of the hardest lines ever, and to follow it up with “a different prayer”, “Lord please save her for me.” 🔥🔥🔥
1:53 my mom always says this about songs that she considers to be iconic from her youth. It makes her think about where she was and what her life was like at back then.
Honestly idk if it’s me but I think this is the last classic r&b album we got in a long time. You can really sit down and listen to this album from start to finish. Skip no songs. And every time you hear it; it still sounds amazing
Y’all deadass always have the power to make me either pause the video and go listen to a song or album again, or listen to it again after wards. When it comes to rap albums y’all be catching things I missed the first listen around. I wish nothing but success for y’all
My Favorite Project from Bryson Tiller , Best R&B Album i first discover his music on soundcloud & then Spotify , TH-cam first Heard don't on the radio when they first started promoteing radio play at the time where music of R&B was getting somewhere in the new sound of trap soul music mix of Rap & R&B Influences Of Drake , PartyNextDoor , SchoolBoy Q , Tory Lanez , The Weekend to name a few. I love R&B , Hip Hop music little bit of everything i can vibe to worth listening. Fav was Don't , Overtime , Ten Nine Fourteen , Right My Wrongs , Exchange , Difference. This is a real good R&B album you just being alone or hang out somewhere just vibein if your looking for new Artist to discover this is all in your feels man 😂. Alot of people say there's no too many good music out here or oh R&B is dead because your not vibein. It's Important to support good music while u vibe at the right time & i don't listen to the radio now a days but i stream music on Spotify , Soundcloud , TH-cam on my IPod & Smartphone. 7:10 “Don’t” “FUdon’tCK”
Trapsoul was like Drake's Take Care 2.0 🔥🔥🔥
Briayun Roundtree yes but less of Drake’s complex towards modeling the perfect female
Trapsoul is sooooo good, Bryson really showed his potential in this album. Everyone peeped him on this album
Please do The Weeknd Trilogy Flashback PLEASE!
Jai Patel
