Looks BEAUTIFUL! The build up in your hair could be attributed to a little shampoo that gets left behind. Look into doing an apple cider vinegar rinse to release that and then after shampoo, let the water concentrate on those areas longer. Just so gorgeous and full!
I haven’t had any issues with my edges. I lost a loc that was installed over an old bald spot that had been struggling to grow hair for a few years. That’s it.
I'm 5 months in and the frustration of reestablishing that back row and my front edges 😒 and I become a fuzz ball too after wash day. 🤦🏽♀️🤷🏽♀️ and I band and braid even though I don't like too 🤭
Your locs are very nice, I think your hair density makes for some very nice locs - they look full but not overwhelmingly so. And it’s great that you can get away with only using water and shampoo and it still looks so healthy and well moisturised. Great update video 👌🏿

As you I am enjoying every stage of my locs 2 months in. But my edges are a mess. Meaning I have a lot of loose hair. Which makes me want to use edge control. I am not sure if it's my loctician not tighten them right, enough or it can not be tighten. What do you suggest I do? My edges never look as clean as yours and others I've seen.

I only had it in the back row for about 4 months. I didn’t do anything g special though. The locs held on after a few reties. The density was low and the hair is straighter back there for me. The hair just needed to grow some before it held on

Not sure what you mean by fuzzies. But locs are definitely a frizzy fuzzy type of hairstyle. So there will always be a level of that. There is a thing as too much frizz , but you’re only 2 weeks in. So just see how it goes and be sure to ask the person who maintains your hair of the frizz is a normal amount or an excessive one.

When it comes to lint, prevention is key.
Some of it will stay. Some of it will come out with a good wash. Some may need a deeper clean.

I got my hair installed at Vanity Hair Studio in Brooklyn. They are not offering new establishments anymore though.
