As a fan of the University of Michigan, I hope to one day "get even" with Maurice for this amazing story. What an amazing way to look at the world "Don't worry about getting even with the people that hurt you, get even with those that helped you". Amazing and I'll be using those words of wisdom for the rest of my days. Regardless of what team you support, we're all human and have an amazing story to tell. So impressed with how he picked himself up and used it to help others. Much respect.
Anyone who doesn't believe that Maurice Clarett should be redeemed and forgiven is a freekin' fool! And I'm glad he came back to OSU. Dude single-handedly built that modern campus, during that National Champ run! And that's saying a lot, because quite a few cats built Ohio State.....!
I love Maurice. That year of college football (especially as a buckeye fan) was one of the most exciting times of my life. God, he was fun to watch... kind of like Michael Jordan early on with the bulls when he had hair lol... waiting for him to explode through that defensive line.....man.... much love Maurice! 🏈 🏟 🙌
Imagine if he would have had a 3 or 4 year career at osu ! What it would have done for his career and what more OSU may have done. Either way, i couldn't be happier to see what he has become. He deserves it so much.
I was growing up when Maurice played never enjoyed watching the game so much still watch his highlight reels to this day this man touched the ball and just moved mountains every trip
Man was he good! Hard telling what kinda career he could've had in college and pro football if he would've stayed the course. Crazy respect for the guy for turning his life around after derailing when he was young.
dude was a revoluionary in 2023. he fought for all these entitled spoiled college athletes to get paid today. nil deal before it. and fought the system. but ruin his life in the process
Maurice clarett they should have gave you another chance you won a national championship that year for us and won money. That was wrong what they did to you to give me money I was a chance
This guy is a true Youngstown story. Pure greatness. Took a fall and bounce back richer in spirit I love it
This!!!!! People don’t understand Youngstown unless you have lived it! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

I’m s glad he overcame his past, and himself. A great comeback story.
Maurice the beast. This guy is literally the greatest RB I have ever seen that never made it the NFL.
Marcus Dupree?

Taking the ball from Taylor was the greatest college football play ever. He was a stud and the best player on a national championship team.

God bless you, Maurice. You are living proof no matter how far you get knocked down, you can always get back up.
20 years man greatest buckeye

This guy is an inspiration. God bless you 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
What a great turn around and get your act together story. I hope someday to meet him and tell him he’s paying it forward
Incredible and unbelievable what GOD can do!! ❤ What a story.
Salute to Mo C along with Cam and Mase💪

Legend.
They did him wrong
The NFL should have let him play. You could go fight in a war but can’t play football?
This country corporation is insanely hypocritical.
Favorite Buckeye ever. I have a jersey
Awesome.

Here from it is what is it
Sorry Maurice clarett stupid phone tripled everything❤❤❤❤❤
Believe it or not this guy is my cousin
GOD is the Greatest
Anyone wanna buy some car stereos?
Smh grow up
I still feel the same way I felt about Clarett back then: he did it all to himself.
And he overcame it
Your statement confirms that you are going through an identity crisis and you would probably kill yourself if you "did it to yourself"
And he’s said the same thing himself plenty of times, so what? He overcame it
Who cares what you think
This is what being young and making the wrong choices gets you. Him and Johnny Manzel destroyed the natural talent they had on bullsh*t. 🤷
Clarett overcame his mistakes
