So, let me preface this comment with *I don't know for sure*, but YES it definitely sounds like the ORIGINAL recordings from the CD, without a doubt. How is this possible? I am pretty sure this song exists on Rock Band or Guitar Pro, and someone was able to turn the volume of the Drum track way down and recorded it coming out of the game. Just a theory, but the solos sound identical. Just missing drums. Let me also say that I have an 'Official Rush YYZ' play-a-long track that came on a RUSH DRUM book for this song, and that recording is WAY Different and definitely not identical to the original recordings. This one is WAY BETTER!!!
I don't believe this is the original. Listen to the original and this version side by side and you'll notice, in this version, both the bass and guitar timing is off and the sound quality of the instruments aren't as good, but I think they did a pretty good job trying to match it up.

How did you remove the drums?? This doesn't quite sound like the original guitar and bass.
