You can always tell an experienced miniature painter by the way they detail their figurines! Although a proj3ct like this seems simple, the attention to detail is beyond excellent. Adding a painted lay of light really does add to the overall quality of a diorama and the shade 9f the tree 9n the stone and the light reaching in from above, down into the "well" really adds to how beautiful this project is! Excellent work!!!
@@johnjozifek7910 Thanks John! I am playing with the idea of making a band of treasure hunters/scavengers set in the Star Wars universe and wanted to give the guy a bit more of an scifi/fantasy vibe, so that’s the reason behind the shoulder pad and cylindrical «pouch». I know it doesn’t come through that well, but maybe next time!
To say this is so awesome and such amazing talent, cannot be overstated. Adding a fedora and whip would have made it really cool. I can hear the Indiana Jones theme in my head.
A read your description and the mini painting especially the face came out really nice, "natural" light from above the hole works too. But i feel like the tree is more of a "fuzzy" one instead of "leafy" one, maybe is that kind of a tree. The painting that shows light hitting the tree is nice. DIsclaimer i never done any dioramas, so big respect for anyone making such nice things!
Thank you! Yes, trees with their leaves/needles (and anything else really) is hard to capture at this scale. I will definitely work on improving my foliage!
This is awesome! The small details like the roots of the tree really push it above and beyond. Also I like your use of cork, I've never considered that as a building material.
Hello Per! First of all i wish you Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! And of course let me shake your hand, because this diorama look awesome! Cheers my friend!
