Yeah. No way Homme should have been just an "honorable mention". They included QotSA, EoDM and TCV. But left out Kyuss like you mentioned, as well as Screaming Trees. Not to mention his collaborations with Mastadon. Arctic Monkeys, and Iggy Pop. I'll throw in The Desert Sessions as well. He's all over Rock n Roll and easily a top 10 candidate.

But after thinking about it, his eclectic style demonstrating hard rock, neo classical metal, speed metal, blues, commercial rock and folk, then bringing up to the levels that he did, I can see why he is on that list..agreed also on Clapton being #1, Dio Groll, Paige and McCartney on the list too. Zdena Gabaľová yeah i think what it is is that rhythm sections are often more hired gun types so they often play in many bands but arent key players. though you could argue a modern example like Zach Hill from Hella, transitioning into playing with Marnie Stern, Wavves and then founding Death Grips. its more about core members/songwriters and i dont think Cameron really counts since he never really defined the bands he was a part of. i didnt know about The Prodigy thing though!! thats fucking sick!

What I think makes Corey more impressive is the timeline. Two completely independent bands, not one that got famous from a solo act or a super group, that had success simultaneously to the point that Corey was the lead singer competing against himself for a Grammy in 2003. Having 8 nominations in a 7 year span.
