Been a proud Pokestan since I was 6 when I “borrowed” a friend’s Pokémon Emerald. I’m proud to see how big the franchise grows to this day. I’ve seen every episode of the anime and I’m currently playing thru Pokémon Violet the hype will never die down it deserves it flowers

Pokémon is the kind of franchise where if I didn't grow up playing the games, I really don't think I'd like it today. The games have become too formulaic for me to care about as much today, but I still love the world of the series.

You never miss do you, Kiro. Once again, another great video by the likes of you; seriously you need some more love, because your content is amazing. It's a crime that you're underrated. Oh, and here's something fun, don't know if you'll see this comment, just like last time, but I got some cool suggestions on videos you can do. Also don't know if you take recommendations or not; but I think you'll like them. Firstly, Skylanders seems like an interesting topic, you can talk about how much it was a success; and how it inspired the short lived toys to life genre (and also the fact, I have heavy nostalgia for the series). Klonoa is a very underrated franchise, that I have a huge soft spot for; and that could be a topic for some good history. And still on Bandai Namco, you can talk about Pac Man. Not only you can talk about the original arcade game; but it would also be awesome for you to talk about other corners of the series. Like the World games, or heck, maybe even Ghostly Adventures (and if you do, and when you're on a point of the video where you talk about the TV show; please bring up the fact that Pac man shares the same VA with Ryuko from Kill la kill. That would be really funny). And maybe Dangaronpa; never played the games, but it's a series that interests me; and could be an interesting topic.
But hey, at the end of the day, I just saying these are some ideas that could work. Still loving the new direction of your channel, and have a safe one mate
Thanks for the comment, and I appreciate the suggestions! I'm not too familiar with Skylanders, so we'll see about that. I've been thinking of getting into Klonoa, so it's definitely possible for me to do a video about the series at some point. I've always been a casual Pac-Man player, but the history of the series is really fascinating. I've played all the Danganronpa games, so no worries about that lol I'm glad you're enjoying the new content and you stay safe too.

Erm, a Ninetails is a popular mythical figure in Japan. A star in multiple Anime like Naruto and honored in thousands of shrines all over Japan. Do your homework.
I dunno I never really got into Pokemon game. I'd probably say I dislike them. My first exposure to Pokemon was the anime with cool fights, character development and relationships between humans and their pokemon. And then seeing tv ads for Dia and Pearl and showing gameplay it looked nothing like the fights I saw in the show. It was turn based lame rpg to me, boring compared to all the action games, or other depth RPGs I was playing at the time. I got a bit older and learnt how to emulate, and decided to play Black. I didn't get very far. And people aren't joking when it's X to win. Annoying random encounters, minimal dialogue, boring, world characters development and stakes. The turn based gameplay isn't even fun. It wasn't like the show I watched, I can't command my Pikachu to dodge and use thunderbolt on the ground as a tactic. For type advantages, besides the obvious one I just guessed or just brute force my way through the battle. I don't get to form a proper bond or develop with my pokemon I capture, like Ash and Chimchar which I was invested in, like other games did at the time.
Pokemon is a bit of a miss for me. And I don't see the appeal of mind numbing combat and game design. And I still remain confused as to why people like it in anyway. Games aren't good. But somehow has become the biggest IP and cash cow in the world. But most people are dumb consumers like most mainstream thigns that get popular. Whenever I ask people why they like it they always say the games used to be good or they like some pokemon or a shallow character.
