That bell; there's a building at my friend's university that used to have one outside the mechanical room as an alarm in case of mechanical failure, but it's gone now. The building was originally built in 1979 with a Standard fire alarm system that had Space Age 2DCD+AV32 horn/lights, but now it has a Simplex 4100U system with TrueAlert horn/strobes.

My school had those pull stations before! In the older classrooms they have them without the plate, they don’t work anymore. They forgot to take the pulls without the plate out of the older classrooms

what do you use to reset yours? is it the original key?

I just put in an allen wrench and lift up, and the cover comes off. Just like I do in the video. But unfortunately I do no have the original key.
