I usually seal up the pork ribs, what would happen if I did the same to the beef short ribs? thinking same results? it seems the pork is a denser meat.

My father used to cook beef short ribs in the oven and placed barbecue sauce on them. Served with baked beans and cole slaw. What a joy to eat them.

I made your recipe today, just rubbed a drop each of mustard on each rib along with the your spice mix. Transferred the ribs in another foiled baking sheet, brushed on the sauce and broiled for 6 mins. Used a different Sauce to finish. Long story short, it was husband approved. He loves it so much. Thank you.

Seems like the potential hour plus variation on how long to cook may create issues about getting everything finished at a set time. These seem more like a take your time slow afternoon item.
