Great tutorial .how do I sing my harmony without the first voice not to be recorded with the current one I am recording?any time I record the first keeps recording with the one I am recording
Esosa chris Hi, thanks 😀👍 Always use headphones when recording your vocals (to listen to your recorded tracks) and keep the headphones volume low enough so that the recorded tracks are not picked up by your microphone.
MUSIC SWAAD ANUSAAR Hi, always use headphones to listen to your song when recording vocals to avoid the microphone picking up the recorded tracks. Turn your phones volume down if the microphone is picking up the recorded tracks from the headphones. Avoid using cheap headsets with a built in microphone as the wires are often not properly shielded, causing the microphone wire to pick up the recorded tracks from the earphone wire. Add a noise gate fx to vocal tracks to remove background noise between words.
@chrisrodriguez1084 Use a high pass filter (EQ / multi filter) to remove sound frequencies below about 500hz on the layer tracks (not the main vocal track), if your layered vocals sound muddy or pan the layer tracks further away from each other in the mix.

All I'm getting is 'Project actions'. Don't see a "V" (?) icon🤷
@jasoncollins865
BandLab has now replaced the V icon with an X icon.
Hey
Whenever I record a vocal layer in bandlab, the main vocal is heard in the background of the vocal layer clip.
How to avoid this?

Hi, interesting suggestion, I will look into it
How do you do this without it sounding muddy

@@IbandUKwhen I try that I just hear 3 voices?
@chrisrodriguez1084
Reduce the volume of the layers so they blend into the main vocals

Is it better to duplicate them or re-sing
Duplicate is more work I rather just reading
Re sing
prince_royalee
Hi, it depends on the effect you are after... Re sing to hide off notes, duplicate to thicken up a thin voice
