    I've seen Dorian Concept playing live some years ago. During the show something went wrong and like half of his music machines went dead for a while. Any other electronic music producer would by fucked and would probably just blame it on hw/sw malfunction, sue the stage manager etc. but DC just kept playing. He took the chunks of the track which kept playing and immediately transformed it into something musical and meaningful using just the gear that was still on. This guy is true musician, and a pro instrumentalist, nevermind he plays "just" the synths.
    Don't get the diss comments around here.

      @@elvergalarga4461 First of all, no it's not. It's an objective fact. They are 100% lightweight plastic & made from cheap components. They're mass produced.
      Obviously "poorly built" is relative. But I'm not even comparing them to a Prophet 5 reissue or anything. Just compare the MicroKorg to a Minilogue... which, arguable is not that well built compared to a Moog Grandmother or even the widely hated Akai Timbre Wolf!
      The MIcroKorg is flimsy.
      You'll notice I mentioned owning one. If you visited my Channel you would also see I own a great many other Synths as well. Including a fair few Korgs.
      I love Korg. THey have a unique Sound! But their stuff is easily damaged & the MicroKorg is the worst example of this I have encountered. I have 3 Volcas. That's kind of saying something.
      Second, so what if it is? I fail to see your point.

    To me many of these comments here are really surprising even funny. DC has been such a huge inspiration for me during the last decade. It seems like a LOT of people are not understanding his music. Being a musician myself this actually gives me hope: you can do music that creates tons of originality and beauty and still won´t be appreciated by many- it REALLY doesn´t say anything about the music but about the people who judge it from a completely different understanding of music. It´s like a culture clash.

    • @studiomomochannel
      @studiomomochannel 9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      This synth does not have a built in drum machine. You could buy a drum machine seperatley or use software to make a drum beat. Technically this synth can make sounds that sound like a kick drum, symbol, etc... but making these types of sounds requires some basic knowledge on how to synthesize sounds first. If you know how to synthesize these sounds you could simply record a few loops: one for kick drum, one for symbols, one for snare or whatever, then play another synth rhythm over top of the loops. This would still require music software or a looping machine/pedal to pull off of course.

      i have cubase, i interfaced it and it was immediately recognised.. this baby is ready to go...also in Ableton ..
      sorry "template" does not jerk my (now depleted) brain cells...

      Its got full Midi interfacing, so Ableton/FL/Etc will hook into it just fine, but you'll still have to configure it on the synth itself.
