First thing Jaguar NEVER! made a "series 1.5" and even if they did that one has covered headlights
    so a series 1

According the owner, it is a 1.5, but with a S1 bonnet fitted. He's currently selling it.

Actually they did, I had one. It had uncovered headlights but lower than the Series 2, finned cam covers, two carburetors, a crossover pipe that heated the intake charge over the exhaust manifold, earless knock-off nuts, rocker switches rather than toggles. This was in the US, British market cars may have been different. This car seems to have been returned to full Series 1 specs.

Yes they did make a 1.5 my Dad has one..also made a 1.25 (which is what the one in the video is) ..the 1.25 had toggle switches in the interior carried over from the series one ..the 1.5 had rocker switches which were being phased in with the series 2 ..during production Jaguar were very cost effective and tried to use up as many old parts as possible during the change from the series 1-2 hence the mish mash of parts during the change over …

@@3ducs This primrose one might be a 1.25 ..they had the toggles like the series 1… series 1.5 like you said had the rockers (my Dad has one 👍)
