77 bubble don’t be scared! If you haven’t kept up with the news, do some research and you’ll see that Taiwan has had the best response to COVID19 thus far.

Did you mix the Chinese medicine powder with water and then drink it? That’s tough! Usually we just pour the powder into mouth and swallow it with water.

I love watching these videos after traveling to Taiwan from the US in December for the first time. I absolutely loved Taipei and also loved being able to hang out on campus at NTU almost every day. I even was able to sneak into a class which was pretty cool. Just had to also mention that whoever the girl is in the video (I unfortunately don't know your name), you're very cute. I wish I could've randomly met you while I was at NTU in December

Hey guys! Lately, I've been thinking about studying in Taiwan a lot and there's one thing that I really wanna know. Is it hard to get into NTU bachelorette for an international student? What is the chance of being enrolled? Because the Computer Science quota for international students disappoints me a bit... There's like only 13 places for foreigners at that faculty...

We can't exactly say the change of getting admitted, but one thing for sure if if you get everything well-prepared you'll definitely get in. The total quota for Computer Science is actually a lot because there are many departments that only accept less than 5. My suggestion is you get your English(If you're not from English speaking country), Chinese proficiency test score, GPA, personal statement and reference ready. I don't think NTU is that hard to get in as long as you're prepared well.

Hey your videos are great! I just wanted to ask you guys a few questions:
    1. Do you know anything about NTU's Agricultural Economics program for Masters or PhD students? I recently graduated from a State University in Math and Economics and have been looking for developmental economic programs. In these classes, we often study the "Asian Tigers" (Taiwan, Korea, Singapore, and HK). I was curious if NTU's program was very in-depth about Taiwanese development after the Chinese Civil War.
    2. With the MOE scholarship, how many hours a week would you need to tutor English to cover all your living expenses? Also, what is the rate which you would charge for a Native English(American) speaker? (In Shanghai, it was 200-300 RMB/hour which is about 33-50 USD/hour)
    3. Are the quality of English-taught and Chinese-taught courses similar? My Chinese level is only conversational and I would need to study for at least a year if I wanted to do academics in Chinese.
    4. Ashley, what did you do to your knee? I have a dislocated kneecap that pops out all the time, and I was curious about the acupuncture. Does it help with your flexibility and reduce some of the chronic pains?

Hi there, let me answer your questions.
      1. sorry but we don't know anything about that particular program.
      2. We will be making a separate video about the MOE and MOFA scholarships soon. However, in our experience the normal rate for english tutoring is 500-600NTDS/ hour.
      3. yes they are similar
      4. Ashley had MPFL surgery in Taiwan and now uses acupuncture as a means to help the healing process. If you are interested in acupuncture it is best to consult a Chinese medicine doctor, we don't want to speak for them but in our experience Chinese medicine has been helpful.
