In Ukraine, energy drinks containing alcohol are still available for a free purchase at the supermarket. Drinking this kind of shit is kind of selfharm, and this is exactly what I am doing listening to this album. I'm feeling very lonely in this country for some political reasons which are not worth explaining, and this music just hits me right in the head. I dream about a cosmopolitan world, both without country borders and borders between people, and I also dream of becoming One with my bed and never feeling anything again
Band signed up with Numero Group who will mostly likely remaster their entire catalog and put it out on digital platforms. They also do physical vinyl and cd releases for their artists too.
the first track gives me goosebumps without fail every single time i hear it. the pure emotion seeping through the vocalists voice is INSANE. I really miss this genre
@@mt23dp Have you listened to Nikifor? It's a band where Simon played the guitar and sang :) And Shalashaska and Surmoi, where he played the drums :p They are lovely bands
This album just appeared on spotify all of a sudden today. It's dated July 31 2024. But the real OGs will always know. EDIT: The one on spotify has a lot of AI bullshitery. It's way worse. I love this youtube version a lot more. The imperfections and dissonance is what makes this album special.
Out of all the emoviolence/screamo bands I've found recently I keep coming back to this. Any suggestions like this? Nothing matches the uncanny tone and depressive lyrics like this. Feels like you're a ghost witnessing your own funeral and the aftermath.
I would set myself on fire for you. Female screamer that plays violin. Laura's voice reminds me a lot of Lindsey's voice. Not quite like this but you may enjoy Saetia as well. They have a similar sound.
i've had this record for years and always meant to put them all up (i have everything they put on vinyl), so super thanks for this! they were a local band from my hometown and a buddy of mine gave me a mix tape with some songs on it (this was a few years after they were already broken up) and listened to it obsessively in the early 00's
As far as I know there entire discog is actually already up on youtube :) So this is is their full length selft titled Then, there's two split records one with Long Live Nothing th-cam.com/video/FbO3hIzY1vk/w-d-xo.html and the other one is The Lew Wallace Comp th-cam.com/video/uU5YPIN5eFk/w-d-xo.html Then finally there's "The End" EP th-cam.com/video/mpRvW3NIfAk/w-d-xo.html Enjoy :)
Listening to this while playing chess, believe it or not and it works wonders. This music is so personal, so intimate. Beautiful stuff. Thank you again!
(If you haven't yet) you need to enable "show locals files" in settings, then find the mp3s (flac or wav doesn't work) in the folder. Then add them to a playlist of your own, and download the playlist on your phone while on the same network as your computer. Hope this helps!
It's not worth it... spotify's UI with local files is literal dogshit. Apple Music handles them better but idk if that's worth switching streaming services

This is brilliant. It reminds me of a song I heard called Forcing the Sun Down, or Forcing Down the Sun, by whom I thought was Atrium. Does anyone know of the song? I haven't been able to find it since early 2000s when napster was running. A lyric in it is "And please hold me until I fall asleep as the pain of light begins to fade away....and every time I look back will you be there watching me?"
Friday the 13th, Dissolving Substance and Goodbye, Again are amazingly beautiful!!! Really like this band. They have passion and their music really rocks :) And the vocals... Untouchable, unspeakably gone, hahah 😅 (I Would Set Myself On Fire For You reference 😅) I have a really strong bond with this album, because the first time I listened to it I was talking with my best friend (by phone) and she had some job to do for about 20 minutes and every single time I listen to this album I remember how lonely I felt :(
@@NihilistDad so were all copies hand drawn? If so I'd imagine a stencil was used.. If not that's even more badass.. This album is a different kind of special.. Hard to compare anything to it, or it to anything.. For me it's like Eldritch Anisette made a second album and got more vicious vocally.. But that's just me
it is the vocalist's grandfather! I saw a photo of the booklet included with the record, on the list of thanks it said "laura's grandpa for being on the cover"

how'd u figure out it's been altered using AI and wasn't just manually remastered?
@hamzehaladwan I don't. But it's very likely. Most studios use AI now
