Thank you for your support and recommendations! This week we managed to produce 3 new books and reuploaded an optimized version of a 4th. We hope you enjoyed this week of productivity. Have a nice weekend!
Hi It's fantastic that you have audiobooks of al ghazali may Allah preserve and sanctify him, will you be releasing the full ilya ullum iddin and also 99 names of Allah ? Stay blessed
@@SmileySmiley-y4w thank you Smiley! So far we have released 2 books from Ihya: “Ethics of Earning a living” and “the marvels of the heart”. We are hoping to expand on that and include the 99 names in the future (need a good source though)
@@Chillbooks TJ winters translation is a good read, also his translation of the 40th chapter of ihya and his translation of breaking of the two desires.
After the mind and body have ceased, the spirit may look beyond anything known? Imagine all knowledge granted you, that you never even used, and if only you had.
Is it only me that finds it hard to understand ? The concepts and methodologies of al ghazali is very challenging to understand. I wish it was interpreted in simple language.
Not only you - that’s a common opinion about Gairdner’s translation; it’s using older language which makes it harder to fully reach the depth that Ghazali has provided. Nevertheless it’s considered an accurate translation of the themes.
It would be prudent to read and comprehend his work in its original language in order to do it justice, but this translation is also excellent. You have to pay close attention to understand Ghazali's philosophy.
Although I had to replay it back to get a better idea, it really opens up your mind to the reality we’re in and increases your iman . It’s very eye opening may allah bless him. If it’s this good in English I can’t wait to read it in Arabic if I get the chance to learn it inshallah
