    I just met you guys at the pier. Thanks for all the great content. It helps to beginning salt water fisherman like me learn the ropes. Thanks for taking even 30 seconds of your time to just say hi. It was really inspiring.

    I like 3 the most for aesthetics, but 2 for the taste. I'm not a huge fan of the texture of mango, but I love the sound of that puree.

    Not trying to be a know at all but I live in florida. You can buy permit here. Not as big as you caught. But can still buy them. And hogfish I have no idea about. But I used to buy permit for bait all the time up until a couple years ago until things changed big time in hardbaits or soft plastics. Granada bridge bait shop Ormond Beach FL. Nice Permit and hogfish too they are getting scarce

    Nice permit! People are thinking “Poor little bugger bait fish though”, but what’s the difference between cutting it like that and some predator fish like a barracuda taking nips at it till it’s gone.

    I was wondering when you were going to realize that you can catch your own bait with a sabiki rig by bridge pilings and seawalls... it's one of my closely guarded secrets. 😉... another abundant bait that is overlooked down there is the small Hardhead Catfish, fish them 3 or 4' under a float and they will struggle to get back to the bottom where they feel safe. Fish with bony mouths like Tarpon and Cobia love Hardheads because they're crunchy like a crab.

  • @jameshaines789
    @jameshaines789 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    This is the bomb guys...
    Give us some logistics as to how
    non-residents from other states can get involved in this “bridge” fishing...
    Are there campsites for RVer’s in the area?
    The wife and I are planning some serious time in Florida maybe next winter if we can escape these fridge South Dakota temps.

    I notice that you suffocate the fish by putting it straight in the eski (cooler) but a great way to put the fish out of it’s misery and preserve the meat from rotting quicker is to
    1. Brain the fish with a knife which you know will be done right if it seizes up and then
    2. Cutting the throat bleed the fish which preserves the meat longer.
    I could be wrong about this but when ever you fillet the fish their necks and brains seem in tact, also if you teach this to your community it will help thousands of fishermen to get nicer meat and longer lasting meat whilst also being kind to the fish.

    cutting a LIVING fish in pieces really!!! There is not an single reason to not kill the fish properly before, just a matter of seconds, same thing with letting them die on air, that's just pure cruelty without any reason, killing and eating fish is ok, Live bait as well, especially cause you don't have to change them as often, so you kill less, but killing a fish that is used for deadbait like this...
    honestly I'm thinking od de-subscribe.
    And by the way, I was an commercial fisherman for years, with training you can knock out 100 fish in 5 minutes only with a wooden stick. Please, just learn how to kill fish properly, it's not a big deal for the fisherman, but a huge for the fish.
