Lake Lewisville is probably one of the last lakes in Texas I'd fish. It's a power boat lake, known more for its drownings than for fishing.
I live there. This lake has em, but the fish don’t do normal stuff. It’s like Ray Roberts. If you know it, it’s an awesome lake. If you don’t, it’s the worst lake ever.
Been there, great lake. Stay on the Hickory Creek side , safe.
Yea that's the Eldora bridge in little elm, one of my favorite spots to catch crappie and bass off the bank. I seen you there in the afternoon and prior to that spot you was at the 35 bridge. At the time I didn't know who you was until my buddy told me. Great videos bro 🤓🎣
I found your site through another tuber and immediately subscribed for two reasons. Number 1- something I hate, it irks me to no end, we all know how TH-cam works,....if we like you we like your video and if we love you then we subscribe to your videos. I’ve watched three of your videos and I subscribed after the second one simply because I did not hear you once ask anybody to subscribe or like your videos number one straight forward. Number 2-it is very apparent that you are highly intelligent and you are about some fishing and know what it’s about. So that is the two reasons on my part that I subscribed to you after your second video. And let me add, that is absolutely definitely beyond a shadow of a doubt your son!! Now it may be your nephew I don’t know because I only got a few seconds into the video where he flips the chips into the boat so I don’t know for sure, but if he’s not your son the DNA runs deep in your family. What a relief! I was just watching some other fishing blogs and pop pop there you go thank you. 25 minutes and 30 seconds it's going to take me about an hour and 30 minutes to watch this for real for real.
Lewisville probably has more "dead water" than any lake in Texas. Fish 3 miles a shoreline with nothing, then a two yard stretch with two or three bites. Rinse, lather, repeat. Hard to get on a consistent bite in a small enough area to be effective.

I fish at Lewisville often. It’s actually a good fishery when boats aren’t ripping and running up and down it.

I said in your first video about that lake that it wasn't close to being that good. When they announced that the tournament was going to be there, everyone in the dfw area was like what? Really? Why?
Exactly what happened to me on Hamilton.. Didn't catch all day and had only 1 bite.. Last 45 mins before weigh in Great flurry ended up with 4 fish on 5 casts for 9lbs and advanced to Sunday.. #ArkansasBFL

As a long time local angler, I've never understood why BASS stops at Lewisville. There are numerous other fisheries in the area that would certainly provide more action and better quality fish. To me it's a city mudhole. Ray Roberts, Whitney, Possum Kingdom, Tawakoni, and of course Fork would be better places to fish. I enjoy your videos. Hope you make the Classic.
LEWISVILLE lake is the High School bass fishing lake. There is a lot of young guys and Gail in school bass fish that have won their seasons on that lake.

I commented on Scott Martin's video when they fished Lewisville (think that was BASS then} that of all the lakes in north Texas that Lewisville made the least amount of sense to me to hold a tournament. Very strange choice. You got Roberts, Hubbard, etc which aren't that great but at least there's fish in them. And then just a couple hours east you have Fork, Cooper, Palestine and all those east Texas lakes. Just a weird choice. Maybe it's the proximity to the airports? Idk....

I know Van Dam caught a lake record the last time BASS came for and E:50 Event in 2005. Lewisville sounds like a super tough lake for Texas

Lake Lewisville is NOT fishing lake. It is a weekend party lake for the Dallas urban area. You will catch more fish in your home aquarium than Lake Lewisville!!

I do the same thing watches his videos over and over and over I think I got red lines on each and every one of them from first to the last. The guy is really a great fisherman. I learned a lot from just watching his videos I have bought a whole lot of tackle well let me rephrase that a whole lot of z-man tackle just watching him in a couple of others but this is my number one Ace in the Hole B -Lat.
