You would spend less time honestly just walking from the worst spot. If in doubt, do a video test and find out if you save time trying to find a close space and maneuvering around cars parked tightly or parking a distance away in empty slots and walking.
Also park the car straight, the insurance company can and will use any excuse to not pay and the next time you get a warning on the phone, don't wait until you have finished what you are doing.

I've been waiting 2 months for a condenser fan for my Model 3 Performance... Parts apparently aren't easy to get right now. I'd say miminum 3 months to repair. Glad everyone was ok. In the end, it's just a car 🙂

Nooooo!!!!! I got in a wreck that totaled my car back in January of 2021… it was a 92 Mazda Miata… and I loved that car. I feel soooo bad for Lincoln and his wreck… luckily it looks repairable, so yea. But I’m glad y’all okay
when i got in my first accident it took 7 months for my first insurance company (the general) to process the claim luckily nothing came out of it as they were unable to get ahold of lady that filed the claim. glad you're okay lincoln
3 months after getting my temps I was in a head on collision going 45 mph by a drunk driver and drug addict and broke my tibial platue and car was totaled! Front end was all off! Many injuries throughout the family! Going through process of license now almost at 17. Waited a while after that one!

I had a similar accident on my model 3. The longest part for me was waiting to get my car scheduled to the body shop after it was in there it only took a week for me to get my car back and they did an amazing job. I would guess March 17 u get the car back if u can get it to the body shop within this weekend.
That's why I was always taught to park in reverse (by my parents and driving instructor) When I was learning I never understood why until we did a demonstration on how it's very hard to gauge the front when compared to the back (don't know how I didn't figure that out myself tbh). I'm glad I've only reversed parked the past year I've owned my provisional license (I live in Australia so I have a provisional license for 3 years). Tho I have no clue how to park driving into a bay now tho haha
Nobody taught me how to reverse park but I taught myself last year when I drove my sister car around to go do stuff I learn it in a fairly empty section of kfc parking lot because my mom was getting food so I did it.

I’m genuinely surprised something like this hasn’t happened to me in my area as I tend to go to Panda Express or chipotle while I’m working and the parking lot is a small row with 90% of the spots being compact, and when you get a van or truck parked in there it takes about 5-6 rotations between drive and reverse to get out (my car is a 2018 Jeep Cherokee) and just standing in line in one of the restaurants waiting to get food I’ve seen way to many close calls between other people
Exactly why I want Teslas. I want a Cybertruck but can't currently afford one and, of course, they haven't actually started production.
