This is the type of band that is international that should have gone to the VMAs when ppl gave a damn and actual ment something.

Oh yeah it sounded a lot more energeric than the actual opening at the time.
I mean, they did something similar with the last ZeXal op/ed which was even more glaring than in Vrains. But yeah, this would work way better in the op, and it fits the feeling of the season perfectly.

After I knew about Band-Maid, I eventually bought all their albums & singles. Just can't get enough of their music. So addictive..! 🤘🏻🎶 🎸
This music is absolutely transcendental. The maid gimmick is just the eye candy bait, but it's immediately outshined by the raw talent. I'm not even a great fan of rock music, typically gravitate towards more chill instrumental world folk. But the skill demonstrated here deserves all the respect. I'm left oblivious to the outfits, being an all-girl band barely registers, even the song itself fades into the background. All I want is to watch them play. I know of no contemporary that compares (although my musical taste leaves me rather ignorant of potential contemporaries). This group deserves recognition equal to any of history's greats. Huge respect for the sociopolitical messages of their music, too.

It's a gimmick but I don't believe it's "eye candy bait". I believe it's closer to dare to take them seriously. "Hai, we know we're dressed silly, in fetish outfits but...Have you heard the music we make while dressed this way?"
I could be wrong (I very often am) but that's my take on their image.

From what i read they are all over the place, 90's alt rock, jpop, jrock. Kanami (lead guitar) mention Carlos Santana as one of her biggest influences. I'm sure there are more but this its what i remember right now.

I only discovered Band-Maid just this year back in February/March right before the pandemic hit the US. I fell in love with their music and I've basically been listening to them non-stop. As of the last few weeks, I just haven't listened to a lot of music because of all these changes in my life, but hearing this again just felt so nostalgic despite only knowing Band-Maid for less than a year. I'm just rambling right now, but the point being is that I love your music and I can't wait to hear more!

I first discovered BAND-MAID on Valentine's Day in 2020, and I thought they were awesome, but I didn't really fall in love with them until October of 2021, which is when I started watching their live videos. Since then I've listened to them almost every day, often for hours on end. I'm 100% going to see them live for at least one of the shows on their upcoming US tour. World Domination!

Great work. My favorite band. A lot of English speaking bands are huge in other countries. So, there's no reason BAND-MAID can't be a huge success in the US. It doesn't matter if you don't understand the words, their songs are amazing. It will just take one radio station to be brave enough to play them.
