Dear Osprey, when it comes to keeping the spirit of the original, changing the nazi swastika symbol to an eagle in the game graphics is like changing the british lion to a frog on the british coat of arms

The new addition looks amazing, will definitely have this on our Christmas list this year. I do also still have the old version which is a bit battered, but am still confused to the rules as haven't played it for many years. Would you please be able to clarify some questions for me as you also have the old rules to this game included -
    1. What does the term in Para 6 "In order to remove a sentry the POW may offer himself for arrest in which case the same rules as above apply" does this refer to if a Sentry is blocking a POW in a room or Safe zone? Are POW's therefore not allowed to jump over Sentry's?
    2. I don't quite follow the Sentry barracks and the black positions. If the German officer would like to move a Sentry quickly from one area to another, and is on a black circle, do they have to move to the barracks, and then out again to another black circle of choice?
    3. Does the POW after coming out of Solitary have to move back to the white neutral zone first (as I have seen in the newer game being played) or are they free to move anywhere after coming out of Solitary?
    4. Are German Officers allowed also into the rooms with the equipment to arrest the Escape Officers?
    5. I really don't understand Para 2, regarding gaining the Escape Equipment Cards. And once obtained, are the POW's moved immediately to the White Roll Call Area, or do they have to move the number of spaces on subsequent turns ?
Thanks for any help you can provide.

      1. You cannot move over other pieces (except if they are in a tunnel below you), guards or prisoners. Therefore guards can block off areas. A guard does not have to be blocking you for an arrest to be forced.
      2. You can't move quickly in this way. You can send guards back to the Commander's office from a black space and deploy to a black space from the barracks. You can't go from one black space to another in one turn. (Guards in the Commander's office are moved to the barracks at the end of their turn).
      3. The POW is free to move but unless they attempt to go straight back to the inner courtyard they are liable for re-arrest.
      4. Guards can only enter rooms if a tunnel has been discovered or if a rope has been laid. In which case they can arrest as per the normal rules (the POW is holding equipment).
      5. They are moved immediately to the appel area.
This is what I take the rules to be from reading them yesterday. :)

Is there any chance of making a video game version on this game?

Guards can't stop on bold black circles, but can they surround it to still block access to the rooms?

Searchlights. Guards can end their moves there but POW’s cannot.
