  • We shot this video One Good Reason on August 18, 1988 at Autohenge which was located near Oshawa, ON. This was an exact replica of Stonehenge but only stood for 5 years before being taken down. The concept was to show the possible after affects from nuclear war, it was very cool to watch the actors coming back to life from being pasted into the automobiles.
The shot of Jay walking in playing bass with a gas mask on was outstanding, must have been 1:00 am in the morning, you can see his breath.
I regret not filming the helicopter flying over for the intro shot, it was a classic moment.
This was our fifth video with Ron Berti & the Total Eclipse crew & it gives me renewed appreciation for the amazing talent they all have & all the hard work that goes into making a music video, setting up & levelling the round dolly inside of Autohenge must have been a challenge for sure, no power, everything running on generators.
It's been driving me crazy listening to myself banging on that 55 gallon barrel drum with rubber mallets during each take, it does illustrate however, the repetitious process of making a video. Our manager Fraser Hill has a cameo performance when he & Laurie Brown from Much Music film an interview with each other & make a good laugh out of it.
Once again, lot's of quiet moments but then again there are a few loud moments as well.
    Enjoy.
