I don’t even know how many times I listened to this cassette in the as a kid in ‘88. On the Walkman on the bike. On the Walkman at work. On the stereo in my bedroom. On the player in my Dad’s truck when I’d have the chance to drive. I can still probably sing the lyrics to each song 36 years later.

I love Meryl's sweater vest! The song could have been great, but the powers that be (Can-Con) might have hindered them in this case. There was a flood of Canadian talent in '84 & there was only so much room on the radio for all of that.

They should have put this on a recording somewhere or other. It might have explained the Jay/Meryl connection.

The album version is the best...there are more ways this song could have been done (and have) but I think this one lends itself to including the audience.

Way to go Meryl! The stylist went all out on this one & I think he would have had on less...less boot & more his feet! I get it, I feel closer to me when my feet are bare.

this song doesn't come up in the main youtube searches for some reason. I spend ages trying to find this song .... I finally had to go through my old recorded VHS videos on my hard drive copied off Much Music... found it... then went hunting for it here... finally found someone elses version that came up first! I try to play the songs from the artist first... I actually had to dig for this. Maybe that's why the views are so low.
