Back in the early 80’s one of my all time favorite live Zep shows was on a cassette titled “Led Zep Live, New York”. Many years later I learned that the show was actually recorded on 9/14/71 in Berkeley, Ca., close to where I live. This is an incredible performance, one in which the band and audience “click” and the band gives an outstanding, high energy performance!
I was there one of those night....can't remember which one. They opened with "Immigrant song". Before "Black Dog" Plant said "This will probably be a hit". Hey, it was 41 years ago and I was 17....
This is a really clean LP! As good as or better than mine, which I got as part of a TMOQ series that had Mudslide, V 1/2,Bonzo's Birthday Party etc...Is this the cleanest version you have? I would bet that you have multiple versions of this on LP...
