Please pray for my son Cameron. He has been. Over 400 miles away from home working on addiction and life. He was baptized during this. He has recently changed to a different facility from a Christian based rehabilitation to a treatment center. He asked God to give him direction. Please pray for strength and surrender for him. I also need these prayers to allow God to lead. It is so hard to know my role.

About two years ago he moved into a residential home because it became too difficult for my husband and I to care for him at home. It has been the hardest thing we have ever done. I miss him so much. Please pray for my family. I have two adult children, both supposed to be christians but not living for Him. One of them is still at home with us while the other lives several states away. This message ministered to me in that I realize I can't control the decision my kids make. I need to allow the Holy Spirit to chastise, encourage, love unconditionally, correct, and put them on the path that leads to righteousness, joy, and peace. BUT IT's SO HARD AS THEIR DAD to do it, especially the one several states away. I love them so much, and I want them to be happy, but they're not, and it weighs on me mentally, emotionally, and believe it or not, physically.
I know what you are going through. My 25 year old daughter said she doesn’t know if she believes in Jesus. She was raised in church and used to be bold about Jesus. My heart is broken. We are very close and she is a sweet 25 year old woman. I am believing in that if I raised her knowing the Lord then she may stray but she will come back. I stand on that promise from God for both of us💕

It's not always easy, but so much comfort is to be had by truly surrendering to God. There is a divine peace that enters our hearts that surpasses all understanding.
Please pray for my mother-in-law, Betty. She is 96 yrs. old and is having surgery tomorrow for a cyst on her bladder. She is a Christian but has a very hard time not worrying and giving the things she has no control over to God. She is in good health for her age, but we always pray for her peace and trust in God. God is sovereign over everything, all the time. Nothing is happening that God has not allowed to happen. We can have peace when we trust that God is in control of everything. We need to be good stewards of our time and resources and be a good witness for Jesus, but we are not in control. We can do nothing apart from Christ.

I have been going down that path, letting God be God…used to be full of stress over projects at my job and other issues but I just decided to let go a few years ago and let Him handle it.. I still find there’s things I am holding on too but the more I give to Him the more peaceful my spirit is, my outward person is smiling. I see people in turmoil and I feel so bad for them…. I think one big issue stopping people from giving over their issues is faith and trust. But I prayed for God to open my eyes and give me what I needed, and the verse about having the mustard seed of faith came to me..just a little bit can grow and He will increase your faith. I have huge trust issues but I know I can trust all His decisions now. Thanks for sharing and letting others know how wonderful life with Christ can be!!
This is so timely Corie. I was speaking with a friend on how we know what his will for me is specifically. We came to the conclusion that if each day we wake up and surrender the day to God he will direct our steps to his will for us.

Yes, I tend to want to control things but at the very worst times of my life, which were really more horrible than most people experience, I finally always flung out my arms and said, 'Dear Lord, I am just one small woman and I need Your help because I know I can't do it on my own.' And miracles occurred. The key is to surrender.
I struggle with trying to carry all the stresses for my family members and feeling down if I can’t fix it. I am working on giving to God what only He can fix.
This is great wisdom. Living in rest for me has come through the revelation that HE’s my Father and HE takes care of me. Over and over HE’s proven HIS faithfulness and HIS tender loving kindness until my heart is at rest in HIS LOVE. Blessings and prayers!!

OMG! 🍅🍅🍅You rock! I just came back from my home state of NC, visiting relatives, and bought two of the biggest German Pink and Cherokee Purple tomatoes. I never buy processed bread and rarely eat mayo, but man, we whipped up some juicy tomato sandwiches at my dad's house, and the childhood memories flowed back into my mind and tastebuds! There is absolutely nothing better in the summertime. So many fabulous memories over tomato sandwiches with grandpa and grandma. We don't get homegrown tomatoes in Florida. They're typically commercial or hothouse and taste nothing like a true homegrown tomato. Nowhere even remotely close. If your hands aren't messy and juices flowing everywhere, it's not a real tomato sandwich, lol. 🍅🍅🍅

Wow, what a light bulb moment for me. I am 75 and have just been wondering what is left of my life and what should I be doing. I have watched this twice just to make sure I was getting Gods message. It is all about trust for me and even though I say I trust him, do I really. I have always struggled with thinking I have or want control over everything and if everybody would do what I say we would all be better off. WRONG!!!!!! Sweetie.... I REALLY needed to hear this tonight. I am under a great deal of stress.... And there are some things in my life that I absolutely have never and can still never control.... I talk to Father constantly through my days and nights..... I believe and trust... Yet when things arise that are truly out of my control I always by Instant habit try to pick them up and fix them....knowing I am fighting a losing battle. For several years.. If I'm honest... I keep trying to teach myself to let go... And Let Father have it all FIRST.... FIRST! As a Christian.. It should be so easy... Yet for me... Being an extremely empathetic and sympathetic person... I always seek to serve and help.... And in the end... I have a tendency to take on other people's stresses, burdens, and problems. Which means they get relief and I get their stress. But I prayed for God to open my eyes and give me what I needed, and the verse about having the mustard seed of faith came to me..just a little bit can grow and He will increase your faith. I have huge trust issues but I know I can trust all His decisions now. Thanks for sharing and letting others know how wonderful life with Christ can be!!

This is so timely Corie. I was speaking with a friend on how we know what his will for me is specifically. We came to the conclusion that if each day we wake up and surrender the day to God he will direct our steps to his will for us.

Yes, I tend to want to control things but at the very worst times of my life, which were really more horrible than most people experience, I finally always flung out my arms and said, 'Dear Lord, I am just one small woman and I need Your help because I know I can't do it on my own.' And miracles occurred. The key is to surrender.

OMG! 🍅🍅🍅You rock! I just came back from my home state of NC, visiting relatives, and bought two of the biggest German Pink and Cherokee Purple tomatoes. I never buy processed bread and rarely eat mayo, but man, we whipped up some juicy tomato sandwiches at my dad's house, and the childhood memories flowed back into my mind and tastebuds! There is absolutely nothing better in the summertime. So many fabulous memories over tomato sandwiches with grandpa and grandma. We don't get homegrown tomatoes in Florida. They're typically commercial or hothouse and taste nothing like a true homegrown tomato. Nowhere even remotely close. If your hands aren't messy and juices flowing everywhere, it's not a real tomato sandwich, lol. 🍅🍅🍅

Wow, what a light bulb moment for me. I am 75 and have just been wondering what is left of my life and what should I be doing. I have watched this twice just to make sure I was getting Gods message. It is all about trust for me and even though I say I trust him, do I really. I have always struggled with thinking I have or want control over everything and if everybody would do what I say we would all be better off. WRONG!!!!!! Thank you so much for letting God work through you. Sent me right to my bible to start reading everything I can find on trust. I have either got to totally trust him or not at all. Thats the reason I have always felt like I needed control over everything because I didnt totally trust him to take care of it like I wanted him to

Sweetie.... I REALLY needed to hear this tonight. I am under a great deal of stress.... And there are some things in my life that I absolutely have never and can still never control.... I talk to Father constantly through my days and nights..... I believe and trust... Yet when things arise that are truly out of my control I always by Instant habit try to pick them up and fix them....knowing I am fighting a losing battle. For several years.. If I'm honest... I keep trying to teach myself to let go... And Let Father have it all FIRST.... FIRST! As a Christian.. It should be so easy... Yet for me... Being an extremely empathetic and sympathetic person... I always seek to serve and help.... And in the end... I have a tendency to take on other people's stresses, burdens, and problems. Which means they get relief and I get their stress.
