i see one of you guys are right hand and the other guy is left hand. i see alot of top doubles player have this strategy...partnering someone who is left hand if the other person is right handed or vice versa.
Yes that can be an advantage. Left handers are in a good position to serve and return serves in doubles and that also puts there partner in a great position for the next ball.

now what if the ball hits the middle line after a serve, does this count as wrong court or a reserve or still in play?
On a serve the line is counted as in so play continues. After the serve the ball can land anywhere on the table.
