You did great knitting for your first time and to capture it on camera! :) I learned how to knit when I was 13 and improved each time I practiced. I honestly found it difficult at first and I like it now that I got the hang of it. I will love to learn how to crochet and don’t know where to start.

the only reason you have holes is because you made an accidental yarn over, very easy to avoid and u actually get a chance to fix it on the next row!! good progress
I’ve tried knitting but I haven’t got the hang of it yet. But I want to learn especially since my favorite little cardigan is knitted. So pretty. But I am also still a newbie at crocheting so I’ve stuck to it till I get better before going for the other. I learned how to hand and machine sew when I was still little so I think that’ll help later for both. So far with my crocheting I’ve made at least 3 scarves, one bag, a flat pillow, and working on a large blanket and second pillow. I actually didn’t mean to make the blanket as large as it is but it happened. I accidentally made it where once it’s finished it’ll be the size of a queen sized mattress. I was a newbie when I started it so it’s in single stitch. 3 different colors though. I’m pretty proud of it so far and my husband adores it. The only thing keeping me from finishing my husband’s pillow is stuffing. Lol I’m lucky my husband’s dad already had crochet hooks and knitting needles for me to start with when I needed something new to fiddle with.
That’s awesome! I found it to actually be a bit easier than crocheting starting out but I actually thought it would be more difficult so I was surprised

That’s awesome! One of my first blankets also ended up way big than I planned, it’s easy to do as a beginner lol!
