  • A blast from the past, footage recorded during a 235 Club trip to Pleasureland including lots of ride footage and a tour around Traumatizer's relay room and workshops. NOTE: Using cameras/phones etc. on roller coasters/thrill rides is dangerous and while sometimes permitted is generally prohibited, footage is shown here for historical purposes and not intended to inspire others to do the same. I would not attempt such again without necessary permission and suitable equipment.

Such a shame they wrecked this place. Tragic that they didn’t save Cyclone.

I would've liked to have seen a bit of what Casablanca looked like on the inside.

shame the park closed but it wasnt really busy only one weekend a year tbh. if the park never closed its doors BPB would of gone bust i believe.

Our Memories the park was owned by bpb

It went bust because it introduced a 2 pounds entry charge (ostensably to keep anti social elements out) which deterred a lot of casual visitors. When numbers went down, the management had not got the wit to cancel the entry charge and it closed. Sad as it was an integral part of the Southport experience.

@@jwrobin21 The demise started when BPB took over running of the site and got rid of the independent run stalls and rides. From there on in. staffing costs became their big problem, the more they took back the more staff they needed to open that effected the days they opened, thus driving down revenue.

@@jayheritage1540 I thought BPB have always owned and run the place since 1912 though...
