Before seing the video : he's gonna talk about how important it is to be "patient from the floor", to "pull the slack" and to have a correct and strong position at the start of the lift.

Paused Deadlifts are such an important exercise.
I first tried them doing candito's Deadlifts program.
Now I always start my prep with a 4 week block of paused beltless deadlifts. Makes the whole lift feel so much more fluid even at high percentages 💪

I’ve been tryna lift sumo with a way straighter back and I feel way stronger pulling of the ground but I keep locking out too early or something, making it hit my knees. Don’t have the issue till I get past 405 . Feels super light but can’t lock out as good. Going to try implementing more pauses and more rack pulls to work on lockout

The chains are great idea. Rack pulls bend bars or it's a pain setting up a small castle of rubber plates (not to mention aweful etiquete with others waiting for plates).

Would deep legpresses be an antidote to weak off the floor People? Or should I do paused squats?
If I get the bar in the air i lock it every time, and if i fail off the floor i often still manages to blockpull it.
So question really is what excersize should I focus on to get stronger from the floor? (Conventional dl's)

@@benjaminzaoui9683 IDK, Roy Cooper is a democrat. Republicans did A LOT of gerrymandering in our state so they control most of the disctricts even tho we are a swing state. I understand shutting down for a month or 2 to get rid of the virus but to keep a business closed down for well over 4 months seems like a terrible idea

    • @benjaminzaoui9683

@@KeeganB-uw9po Yes, I know he is. This confirms what I thought that such an authoritarian lockdown would be led by a Dem. Also why I was saying to vote that tyrant out! The lockdowns were not effective. Perhaps well-intentioned in the early days when we didn't know anything about the virus, but misguided in hindsight. Anyway, they were always intended to curb the surge and prevent the healthcare infrastructure from being overhwlemed. We now know places which, locked down strictly have experienced similar deathrates to those that didn't lock down at all, e.g. (Spain and Norway.) Anyway, best of luck and do what you can.
