"we are in the endgame now, It was the only way" The most creepy thing is, that she died exactly in the same pose as her vision, like empathising the fact that they knew this was coming, and yet decided to go on with it anyway
I love how powerful this scene is and it left me feeling like there is now no hope left. However, to add to the fan theories: Glint spoke privately to Aurene about "Ascension", a process going back to Guild Wars 1. It is possible, in my opinion, that Aurene's death was necessary to pave the way for her to "ascend" and exist on a different level than physical. Again, I'm not entirely sure how to explain it. All I know is after a half hour of feeling numb and wandering around Thunderhead, I suddenly remember that conversation and I think Glint taught Aurene how to ascend. Again, just my opinion. Doesn't make it right or wrong.
Lets not forget about the scene where Glints talked with Aurene in private because Aurene needed to do something that she thought was impossible. Aurene got Jokos Magic but couldnt use it until now because you need to die atleast once in order to use them. Aurene never really used the power of those she absorbed or was able to master them. So maybe Glint told Aurene that she needs to sacrifes herself in order to unlock her potential. So maybe, just MAYBE Aurene is about to return later to finish the Job.
Do they really have any other choice? lol Either they have to Deus Ex Machina Aurene back to life or they pull the biggest asspull by having the Commander square off with Kral 1v1.
The end of aurene is sad, yet not shocking, kralk was troubling in even GW1, he wont go down easily, i cant wait to find out whats next seriously......
@@odinthewiseone1335 its obvious what will happen... kralk fled into the mists... aurene is now in the mists... kralk can still be absorbed by aurene.. the fight is not over and there is still 1 episode left in the season... aurene will absorb kralk and come back to life.
Well, Aurene has a bit of Mordremoth's power, this can give her mind control ability, and she ate Joko too, so she probably has the ability to ressurect. Still, she can come back to life and control Kralkatorrik and somehow destroy him, taking his place. The prophecy can't be wrong, so maybe Glint had this chat with Aurene about her death from her vision, therefore Aurene had to die, then come back to life, and probably even stronger in order to counter Kralkatorrik. My god, this scene was upsetting. I hope she comes back bigger and stronger and more powerful, and when Kralk tries to take her down again she blasts him in the face and leaves a bloodied stump of a neck behind

Hmmm well as Joko pointed out in the past we have been killing beings of magic, and exposing that magic to the world has had terrible effects, such as what is happening in Jahai.
However going into All or Nothing the plan was to use "Glints Legacy" which was to kill Kralk with Aurene and have Aurene consume his magical energy and replace him, however it backfired so now well we will find out tomorrow what will happen, but I'm guessing it's near impossible to trap Kralk forever so.....
I mean now that they cant handle kralkatorrik just leave him alone. Maybe tyria isn't his or its target and go recover?
Kralkatorrik will pay for this
Aurene is gone. Crab rave.
Jesus hearing Taimi cry like that just breaks my heart
Anet rlly liking avengers 1st is dead parent now this!
o plz u know somting will happen and aurin will come back
So what next ? Ep 6 ?
I imagine so, tho maybe there might be a small current event then living world season 5
@@QuoundoGames that maybe true ^
Iirc anet announced last year the living world season 5 will follow directly after season 4
According to an article they retweeted, this was the last episode of season 4. So season 5 next is what I presume
@@QuoundoGames i am going to guess the next expansion will pick up this story
Rip Aurene :(
All *for* Nothing
Just as planned.!
Yeah Anet drop your characters for some cheap shock value because you can't write anything else of worth, I wonder how many more times that trick will work.
im never playibg again if she doesnt come back alive and well 😑
as sad and dramatic as it was, i would have been far more upset with that being the final confrontaion with the most legendary of the elder dragons.. that being said I wish the commander would have punted taimi in front of aurene.
Blood yes they can, there’s a plethora of villains to turn to. If you read the novel you would understand that Kralkatorrik must die eventually.
TheBuragi N I guess so, but Anet said themselves that the living world can be as prominent as expand stuff. But I guess we will see
It really reminded me of Mass Effect 3 when Shepard was wounded walking down the tunnel limping. I didn't like it then, I don't like it now.
Ah, so i wasn't the only one who thought that. XD
GW2? Garden Warfare 2??
Guild
Wars
2
THANKS ANET I HATE IT
*cough* INFINITY WAR *cough*
Why would u post this and a lot of people haven’t finished the story yet
Why would they watch? No one made those people to click on the video and watch this over 4 mins cutscene. Their problem if the ending was spoiled for them, only their fault.
Cuz fu and fuck everyone. Just don't click. So hard?
did Aureen or whatever his name is any good loot?? anyone know?
Yup a bronze scimitar and 2gp.
thanks good job NCsoft
I miss GW1
I Go for solo 1v1 this dragon ezpz
kralk " mothherrrr"
#bringbackaurene
T _T noooooooooooo !!!!
gw2 has no game play value because nothing you do in game really matters and the story is not very interesting. Its only saving grace is no monthly payments. There are no enticing mmorpgs anymore.
She ate joko, soooooooo maybe she lives?
Aurene is by far the ugliest dragon i have ever seen in gw2. All dragons in gw2 exept Shatterer and Kralkatorrik are so ugly. I wish a Shatterer or Kralkatorrik skin for Skyscale
