Where did you get the hook you used to put on the belt after reinstalling the alternator?
Should have kept that undershield off for all the water that came out the water pump
What is the milage I should replace the water pump on my 2014 civic?
217k and haven't needed to yet. Whenever it stops working
I’m needing to replace my radiator because it is filled with rust so I’m replacing the water pump at the same time
@@aridee97well your radiator is probably filling with rust cus you’re using water and not coolant when refilling it
after about 100k miles the car will throw a code which is basically telling u to change the water pump, coolant, oil and flush the brake system
@@aridee97 Rust is caused, when the Ph is wrong in coolant. The Ph should be above 7. (7-8 is fine). When it's below 7 for too long, it can lead to corrosion and cause problems.
Thank you!
do you guys have a support page i can ask someone some ?s
2006-2015 civic 1.8 has same waterpump?
Anyone could please answer? Tnx
It looks the same.
They forgot to change out the thermostat.
There are much better videos for this. This videos leaves out sooooo much.
Remove this and remove that.. No detailed explanation here as far as socket size or precations taken
If you can't figure that out on your own then you shouldn't touch a wrench, this was a perfectly clear explanation for replacement
Its shaped funny lol
