- This video explains the Atlantic Immigration Program and how you can migrate to Canada and obtain PR as a skilled worker or an international student through this program. I give you a list of colleges and universities that you can apply to if you wish to come to Canada as an international student and qualify to apply for PR through this program. As far I know, you still need to show settlement funds sufficient to supper you and your family for at least a couple of months. This is because when you first move to Canada, you need to pay first month rent, damage deposit and you won’t be able to get a credit card immediately.

There maybe a specific time that you would have to stay in Atlantic Canada. But after that period is over you can move. I am unsure about the specific time period that you are required to stay, but you can search the program description using the link in the description to find out more information

You will have to find a job from one of the employers in Atlantic province and then apply.
Great video. I got job offer from designated employer. I want to apply for temporary work permit with endorsement letter and provincial work permit support letter. I do not have money for the funds or IRCC fees. Is it possible to only obtain work permit without proceeding to AIP PR ?

If you have valid job offer you can always apply for the work permit. Even then you would still have show some funds to settle down in Canada and in most cases pay your visa processing fees. In some cases the employer will cover those costs.

Yes. That shouldn’t be a problem as long as you have work experience to get the job. But some PR programs wants you to have a minimum education requirement.

There is no set age for most programs. But you don’t get any points for your age if you’re over 35 I believe when applying for PR under skilled immigration.

Some universities and colleges do accept PET. But non of the immigration programs do at this point.
