The juggernaut skin is not a “mech”, that’s the standard power armor used by the ground forces of the Space Marines, the body of a Marine is around as big as the suit, technically the regular skin is the scout regiment, or the Light Infantry.

While the Chainsword is fantastic, and the weapon blueprints are decent enough, it's tough to decide whether this bundle is worth it or not when the Juggernaut skin is only on the Recon, meaning it can't be used in Zombies. The Space Marine killstreak looks nice, but it's not like you're able to get it consistently every game to enjoy using it. While people would have rather them being their own operator, it's a blessing in disguise since Space Marines are supposed to be hard to kill without the use of proper weapons like Plasma Gun and Heavy Flamers. So is this bundle good? Arguably so, I'll give them credit for the attention to details like the tracers leaving an explosive hole from the bolter rounds on each gun, but the main problem isn't necessarily the bundle itself, but the fact that CoD isn't the best game to experience the power play 40k is known for in the Warhammer community. To get a better understanding, go watch Warhammer 40k: Space Marine videos on both single player and multiplayer. Also check out a clip from the film Iron Within, when an Iron Warrior still was able to kill a Dark Eldar (Space Elves essentially) and pull out the dagger from his throat without any issues. What I'm talking about is the person that would need to face the Space Marine player aren't going to be happy on the receiving end. So locking the power armor behind a killstreak was smart, but at the same you'd have to be good at the game to get the Juggernaut often, and with SBMM still being in CoD, you may not get it as much as you'd want to. Tl;Dr, The Codex Astartes does not support this collab. Cool on paper, but somewhat left to be desired.
they're adding a special jug v jug gamemode where everyone is a juggernaut (with the 40k skins applied) so you'll just have 2 chapters of marines duking it out.
To non warhammer fans the gun skins are based on space marine rifles called bolters they shoot an explosive round the size of a soda can that’s why they have that wound effect and why people explode on impact also the sword skin is just called a chain sword

Correction: the blow up *after* impact. They're design to go into the target's body (or through a wall I guess) then detonate. With walls, this is an airbust grenade in the form of a bullet. With fleshy targets, this leads to, well, the targets going pop like they do in game. On bigger stuff it might only take a chunk, though.
They are 19mm SAPHE shell So, while powerful (practically autocannons), they're not really that big. It's just about a millimetre shorter from a 20mm Autocannon

I honestly love the riot shield's red screen, it's so bad it's good. And the red screen could be referencing the rage blood angels go through every so often where they see people as Horus and try to murder them as violently as possible

It is called a Chainsword. The rounds for the guns explode because the weapon they are based on is called a Bolter. Those fire bolts and bolts are armor-piercing explosive rounds. Space marines getting hit don't explode but normal-sized beings do.

be thankful the performance of the Astartes are not accurate. 7-9ft tall, sprinting up to 30mph and far, far stronger than a average human and wielding a 70.cal explosive tipped, gyrojet Bolter as standard. Yeah, Adeptus Astartes are that terrifying there is a term in the lore called "trans-human dread" because these guys are so beyond a average person and rare to see that often, mortals are frozen in awe when they see the God Emperor's Angels of Death.
Thank you so much for bringing it to attention. I stopped playing the game months ago. This will be the first and only time I’ve ever paid for a micro transaction in a Call of Duty game ever. And I started playing it since CoD 1 came out. I guess that answers your question if this is worth it.

The juggernaut skins are mainly for the new game mode that put you into a third person. Everyone is a juggernaut mode.

The riot shield is the best part of the bundle… &… if it wasn’t red glass I would be buying it.. but because the riot shield is unusable so now I don’t have a reason to buy it

They should’ve made it so that you can weld the Chainsword while you’re using the shield at the same time, like a true Angel of Death would.

In my opinion this is far better than most of the bundles. Though I would rather for them to get rid of the bundles and the store or at least only sell mil sim stuff this is at least of a military theme far better than the p**sy ass anime pajama bundles.

From what I’ve seen of this, the best part of this pack is the chain sword and the finisher animation.

be thankful the performance of the Astartes are not accurate. 7-9ft tall, sprinting up to 30mph and far, far stronger than a average human and wielding a 70.cal explosive tipped, gyrojet Bolter as standard.
Yeah, Adeptus Astartes are that terrifying there is a term in the lore called "trans-human dread" because these guys are so beyond a average person and rare to see that often, mortals are frozen in awe when they see the God Emperor's Angels of Death.

The sword is something called the evicerator, from the imperial guard to the astartes to the massive warmaster class titans they are iconic as much as the bolter and power sword
eviscerator is bigger, girthier and heavier, two handed variant of the chainsword
