The variation of dumbbells is extremely useful for a small person like me th-cam.com/users/postUgkxP26Tir6n60vUkdtn4mbwhRO8cwuJQNy2 But the dumbbell size being large it's hard to do certain exercises like deadlift ( I have to have my hands and legs a bit wider to accommodate the size of the DB )Otherwise happy with the purchase. No excuse not to lift weight when it's snowing outside.
My review: I’ve had this product for a few months, works perfectly. I did accidentally break the handle a bit, but still functions. It works exactly as you expect, although I’ve reached the point where the weights aren’t enough (especially for DB bench press and squats). Conclude: definitely recommend, but do spend the extra money for the higher weights, it will come useful later. 10/10 for value
The creator of this video says it’s a bit shit quality but has good value. I’d say it’s good quality as well as good value. It doesn’t slip, it’s not too short, it’s just perfect. I have pretty big hands as well.
@@ahmedaiman5258 I'd suggest saving and getting a couple hundred kg olympic lifting set. I bought a power rack with 200kg of weights to save time traveling to the gym and its one of the best investments I made.

The screwlocks at the end are on the wrong way, thats why they "fall" off easily. You have the face of the screwlock with the most surface area facing the weight, it should be facing out wards. 1) You need the extra leverage of the wide part to screw them as tight as possible. 2) Having the small ring contacting the weight means 2 things. The gripping resistance as you tighten up the lock is lower because less material is in contact, this leads to the leverage you create from the screw being more effective. 3)Also because of these points, the turning force of the weights as you move them during exercise against the locks is less and a force lower than the one use to "lock" them in.
I bought those weights and the red screws don’t slide down as easily as seen in the video. I actually had to use abit of force to screw it in. So the weights are actually very secured In.
I just got these because I am on a budget. My biggest issues is actually the bulkiness of it. The rods are little too long so you have to be careful not to poke your eyes out if you are gonna do hammer curls. You also have to hold the weights off to the side when you are doing deadlifts. Other than that, they get the work done.

I got a similar set but mine seem better quality tbf. Only dumbbells though, no attachments for a barbell. Bought nearly 2 years ago when equipment went very scarce in lockdown. They're from China (obviously). Same looking plates and weight increments. The dumbbell bars are very different to yours though, good and solid metal, they can take a lot of weight. Much better than argos opti brand weight bars which are plastic but still pretty strong. To me yours look like that strong plastic that argos own branded weight use. I just don't like that they're so bulky with them being concrete. Also the bar sticking out the sides means that when doing shoulder presses and bench presses, the weights can't get close enough unlike a set of set weights made of cast iron. And you can't rest one side of the weight on your thigh like you can with set weights. I only use them for certain things. They have their uses. I bench dumbbells up to 35kg and with the concrete plates I have altogether (I have some I got from argos too, was lucky to get them) I can only just fit 20kg of them on a bar and by god its bulky lol.
