- This bowl is made from a cherry blank that was riddled with cracks. So I tried something new to fix it.

I love your Job👍
Absolument genial!
A true artist
You are so talented!!!! I love watching your videos. 😁
A very nice bowl and superb work. But what always kills me is the waste of wood making such bowls... :o(
Awesome work man!!! What was that putty you used to fill the cracks with in the bowl?
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏❤❤❤❤❤❤❤👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Wearing gloves and working with spinning machines is a really bad idea.

Beautiful bowl❣ Thank you for leaving the bark, adds a nice finish. Thanks to your buddy, too!
I like the shape, the colour, the grain pattern and the cracks filled with milliput but I don't like the live edge bark left on look
Beautiful, always look forward to your videos
Jim Overton - Jimsons Stuff does some cool stuff with Milliputt on his channel.
Very nice, I like how you cleaned up the bottom. Also how you filled the cracks. Well done sir.
What a great piece! I wish my shop looked like yours...
Should have said “turning a crack bowl”
Well I suppose if you go XL on the Stratos, you also go XL on the steady rest :D great work!
That’s an interesting way to remove the tenon. 👍
Hey Oliver, my interessting is, what a Kind of Lathe you have. Its Look like beautiful!
It's litteraly written in giant letters on it.
Stratos XL ( 10:30 )
What kind of mask / face shield are you using? I find your turnings some of the best out there. Great talent. Did you get trained? Did you have a mentor?
Good Job 😀👍 i like it 😀👍
Greetings Stefan
fabulous Olivier :) as always
Beautiful bowl, loved watching the whole process.
Absolutely gorgeous bowl. I just love your work. Thank you for sharing 🌞🌞🌞
👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Oliver, I love your work. Always precise, calculated and calm. Great job !
nice job
Comme toujours superbe vidéo !! Je t’en prie mon ami merci à toi !
Leaving that bark and it not being perfectly rounded gives it great character.
Sou do Brasil... Sou seu fã. Abraços
WOW the cracks is what makes the bowl stylish and unique thank you.
Oliver, you are truly an artist turning wood. Very impressive.
For the first time watching your videos, I finally saw wood savings on the floor and work bench. For a long time I thought your wood shavings automatically disappeared since your shop was always so clean. Now, I don’t feel so bad with the mess I make turning wood.
Thanks for sharing your videos and your art!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Molt bonic, felicitats!!
Simple and elegant. Lovely!
Love this bowl great job Olivier
Huge steady rest did you do a video on making it???
Thanks. Nope, I didn't.
Although extremely inspiring, his videos sometime make me feel like selling all my woodworking tools.
Why ? I sure hope that you'd feel the opposite and wanna make cool stuff to !
I feel like heading to my shop and turning more...
Salut !
That's cool how you finished the bottom beautiful bowl love the cracks
I was worried the bark was going to break your camera for a second there. It was flying off like crazy! 😅
Great looking piece, Olivier!
Billy
Bonjour, c'est quoi ton tour ? Tu le conseil a un débutant ? Merci
Perfect👍👍👍👍👍
nice bowl, very nice work,, jolie travail...
That's one of the best "natural" bowls I've seen. And he put it through a "Cat Scanner" toward the end. Amazing!
Beautiful work and video, Thanks
You're incredibly cool!
Love seeing the bark, beautiful bowl
Un beau travail tout en délicatesse... J'aime

Where did you get the black wood putty and what kind of finish did you use?
It's Milliput putty. Just google it. I used a food safe oil.

Am merely curious, instead of using the putty had you considered prior
To filling the cracks using resin/saw dust?
Are you left handed? I don't think I've ever seen anyone start mounted that way around.
Nope! Right handed, I think. 10:37
Sorry Oliver but this design is not for me
Y not where leather so the wood chipping wont stick
