  • Hi everyone,
This is a video that I thought would be extremely useful for anyone that is thinking about attending, getting ready to go to, or currently at university. Here is a little insight into what university life is like, and details some things that you SHOULD know before attending- especially aspects that no one tells you about!
This is solely based on my experiences at university in the UK.
Let me know if you have had similar experiences or whether it is different where you are from in the comments.
Hopefully you enjoy, I will be back with a new video next Saturday!

This is truly and utterly sheer brilliance, I don’t know if was scripted, perhaps it was but for me it seemed just so real and as though you and the questioner were ad-libing, if I had one complaint it would be the wind which at certain times made it quite challenging to hear but you know at my age you do tend to loose a lot of your faculties, eye sight, hearing ... Maria I utterly adore you, I adore following you and thank you for allowing me and others to walk inside of your life like this .. xxx with so much love .. Ronnie xxxxx

Haha, it definitely depends on where you're living, but these are pretty common first year halls issues. All the best Mollie Rose!

heyy, thank you! your videos are really helpful!! Not to expose anything but which accommodation were you in? Were your friends' that horrible too? Did you have a shared bathroom! Thank you for making these for us, its nice to have honest reviews for sixth formers

Hey Ana, thanks so much for the positive feedback! So I stayed at Robertson's Close, a self- catered UofE accommodation. I shared a bathroom with two other people (which isn't bad at all). My friends weren't horrible, because I think I chose good friends haha. I was more commenting on the parts I couldn't control (like flatmates in first year), if that makes sense.

Hey I really enjoyed your video and found it to be very helpful. I would like to move into a self catered accommodation and from your experience I'm a little scared 😂 so do you have an idea on which university accommodations that are amazing and are closer to the medicine and surgery campus. I'd be super excited if you could help with this. Thanks a lot. God bless.

Hey Elsie, I asked my friend who studies medicine, and she mentioned Salisbury Court being a 20 minute walk away from that campus, and also a very nice student accommodation. I had friends staying here in first year, and it is one of the nicer central ones, but is on the pricier side. I hope that helps :). God bless you too!
