Perhaps a video on “differences/ lessons learned” after cloth diapering 3 children (what worked best with 1st vs 2nd/3rd baby, wriggly toddlers, travel with cloth nappies, etc)?
I like my GroVia wipes, but I also made myself some out of an unused flat flannel bed sheet. I like my Diys the same. They both do the job well (sometimes the flannel ones do it even better).
I make my own cloth wipes I like the larger wipes. I just surge two flannel clothes together. My favorite are made frome old flannel sheets they are so soft
I bought some small fleece blankets at a thrift store since Wal-Mart isn't as cheap in Canada. The quality really varies between those blankets, some I have made were amazing, but they were baby sized blankets, so I didn't have enough. I also used burp cloths cut up to make wipes to save some money. I will probably invest in some cloth wipes after, but it's expensive to do it all at once.
If you've made it this long, maybe you don't need one! 😄 Personally, I love mine, but I've heard several people say they don't think they're necessary.
Thank you! I'm finalizing my diapering plan and I was so stuck on what to do about a pail vs a wet bag. I like your idea of an open laundry basket upstairs and a wet bag downstairs.
I would add for those that want to use cloth wipes on the go as well, a reusable ziplock bag with the wipes. I’ve tried the dry and spray with a bottle method, but I very much prefer to wet my Grovia wipes before and put a few (4-5) in a reusable ziplock. I found it difficult to clean my girl properly with the dry wipes and spraying her (or using way too much water on the wipes/taking forever to get it wet enough).
My stash is aprox. $450 worth with all and accessories. But I could of spent less if I would have known better. I don’t regret it too much but I wish I would have only bought my pocket diapers and my covers with flats. My alva baby 12 diapers were $65. My 12 littles & bloomz pocket diaper with hook & loop $50 (these and alva diapers my care givers and dad like because it’s easier for them to change the diapers.) My Littles & bloomz 6 diaper covers were $22 (by the way I use these more and 2 diaper covers last me enough till wash day with constantly rinising or washing by hand after every diaper change and the dry real quick.) Grovia hybrid 6 of them with inserts $220 (I don’t even use them because I hate velcro and can’t stand them) Flats were free because I use any receiving blankets, old shirts, muslin a&a blankets. Snappi pack of 3 for $10 4 cute Littles & bloomz wet bags for on the go $20 2 baskets for dirty diapers $3 2 second hand large wet bags $5 KangaCare butt cream is $13 Diaper sprayer $22 Wash cloths/baby wipes were free because I received a ton with my 4 kids. I wish I could of just saved my pocket $220 or more. I hardly use my pocket diaper so I could of saved more by just buying 6 alva and 6 littles and bloomz. All together would of saved me at least $300.
In my opinion I think the cheap Walmart fleece blankets are poor quality. I hear a lot of people recommend then to use as liners. I hate them because they peel. They were helpful for a little while but I won't be able to use them long term. So now I have to find a different option. As for wipes I use the "Prince Lionheart" brand. They are bamboo/cotton terry. I have only tried one other brand and they were too thin (I forgot what brand.) I love the Prince Lionheart brand because they are not too thin or too thick and I usually only need one wipe to clean up any mess. They are thick enough that I can use both sides. They are pricy too I guess, 16 for $24.99 on Amazon.

Good idea! You definitely realize that some options work better for some kiddos and your preferences change over time too!

Accessories! Yay! I love cloth wipes and wet / dry bags. I've been using a laundry basket lately as a diaper pail. Thanks for the idea. 💜 Heidi
I have the Grovia wipes. Love them so much that even though I've never tried other types of cloth wipes, I can't fathom something else being better.

Love the Grovia wipes! On baby #3 bring cloth diapered and I haven’t invested in a sprayer yet! Maybe when this one starts solids! Sounds helpful!
