I don't usually comment on TH-cam videos, but this was absolutely fantastic. You explained HDFN with such ease and now I feel so much more educated on this topic. Thank you so much!!

Very nice lecture sir... U made it soo easy....I have a query...
What will happen if mother is Rh + and baby is Rh - ??? Will there b chances of erythroblastosis in that case too???

If the mother is Rh+ she won't have antibodies for Rh so it won't be an issue.

my daughter is O- and has had several miscarriages. She was a twin but her twin never developed in the womb. the placenta said it was a disease )3 scratch marks on placenta next to the blood clot which was the twin. Her DNA indicates she was in-fact a twin. my question is could her o- blood type have killed the other twin and cause her to have a higher chance for miscarriages now as an adult? My daughter , the surviving twin, was jaundice when she was born also.

Thank you for this video, I had this as a newborn as my mum is rh neg and my dad rh positive, I had two blood transfusions one in the womb, at a week old I had a bowel blockage so had a big operation, was anemic as a small child so was on iron meds for a while,
When I became pregnant with my second child he had jaundice and I then got hypothyroidism, then a few years later
I’ve had toxic nodule goilter so had rai after this , had high esr and crp since I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia and then ra so was put on pregabalin, naproxen and then Sulfasalazine, I was really ill yellow eyes, and dark wee , fever and child back pain pain top left of stomach, feeling sick , over 5 stone weight loss had another bowel blockage had 350ml if bile drained from my stomach ( felt well the next day) but the general feeling of ill health returned bowel blockage fixed and since stopping all meds
