Homemade bartop cabinet using android box Monitor: bit.ly/400YHWQ Joystick: bit.ly/3Dn9f9Y Step down: bit.ly/4gHWmpb Usb Step down: bit.ly/3Pocxwx Arcade sticker: bit.ly/4fpJItV --------About this project: -Schematic at 27:11 -I´m using an old android tv box, it boots with batocera on a sd car -1 to 4 players with the front usb hub -14 inch screen, replaced all the power adapters for step down converters -9mm plywood, 10mm pvc profiles to use as "T-molding", used also some pine leftovers from other projects :)
i added subtitles in some parts of the video, turn CC on, if you have any doubts about some part of the build feel free to comment, i will reply and also add subtitles on that part, with your feedback i can improve the subtitles (maybe voice comments in the next videos xD)
That's crazy, man! I gotta say, if I knew anything about electrical and electronics, I might even consider making one just to blow off some steam. But hats off to you, man, it turned out amazing!
Thanks, recorded time is around 9 hours (120 gb of video), but i spend maybe 20 hours off camera, honestly i don´t know, i do a litle bit every day and some days i do nothing :)
I wasnt feeling the black hot glue on the speaker grills, but then you have them facing downward... Not a bad way to hide it! Also, awwsome way to use the old soap trick!
Amazing job you are really a magician to do all that. 2 things I didnt like though: Bezels are not needed in such screen just do it fullscreen and I noticed high input lag, maybe the usb controller converter is not that good?
Thanks, i kept the bezels for the video only, normally i use it in fullscreen, about the high input lag i didn´t notice any noticiable diference from when i was testing the box with the batocera on the tv and pc monitor using a normal gamepad, playing in the 14 inch monitor feels like playing using the tv or monitor, if there is any lag could be from the 14 inch monitor but it seems pretty responsive
Jestem cieawy jak na tym czyms chodzi tekken tag tournament na mame32 myslalem ze cos lepszego wlozysz anie jakis box z androidem myslalem o jakims pc albo laprop albo mini pc

You're killing me with the hot glue man.
You should add a piece of glass over the front of the bezel to give it that arcade machine look!
easy to add some glass or plexyglass but it will increase a lot the reflections
