God I loved this game. Have the entire book series and have even bought the Limited Edition special version of this game. Can't wait to get it and play through it again.

I remember going to my friends house to play this, probably one of the most fun games I played on multiplayer.
I LOVE this game...it's my River City Ransom of the modern age. I bought it on day 1 for XBox 360 Arcade and now for the Switch.

Don't feel bad about dying on the first level. Its supposed to be slow and li k up the pace as you go on. And if you pay the late fees you can buy extra lives.
I would absolutely love to see a castle crashers run
the game is so much easier when you pay scotts late fees and buy all the upgrades, you get extra lives, and you get like 50+ strength and defense. yes, the rent is expensive so if you dont have the money you can use the (cheatcode up up down down left right left right block while holding the jump button)

Also you could have went to a secret spot in the forest level (Level 6) and bought this secret move that helps out a whole lot without using GP or HP
