Scott Pilgrim vs the world by Bryan Lee O Malley and Edgar Wright are amazing film and comic graphic novel adapations. Michael Cera stars as the titular character as well as Chris Evans, Kieran Culkin, Marie Elizabeth Winstead, Anna Kendrick, Brie Larson and a bunch of other stars. This 2010 movie is funny and hilairous so we did a full movie reaction

Not only is this getting an anime, but most of the original cast reprising their roles. Perfection. This is definitely one of Edgar Wright's best films. The music and editing is top notch, Brie Larson's cover of "Black Sheep" is phenomenal, and the cast is having a blast.
That's so cool.

My favorite trivia about the movie is that the twins' actors didn't know any English so that's why their scenes are so short and they just summon some dragons to fight a gorilla ghost -- because in the actual comic they have actual things to do and are a little bit more important.
after all eahc book is basically abut scott fighting a member of the League, so they kinda HAVE to have a bigger role.
what's more in the comic the twins pretty much spell out how Ramona's an awful person who needs to face the fact that she's awful just like Scott.
Hope the twins play a large role in the anime!
The twins made robots in the comics but Edgar thought at the time robots were too cliche or overused so they made them into dragons

I love how Knives can see Scott escaping and Wallace knows she saw Scott escaping but still play along the “Nope haven’t seen him” and poor Knives hilariously just standing there hearing Scott running on background.

I will say: the comic version of GIdeon is a much better villain. He's far more sadistic and insane and way more of a control freak, and there's a REASON he's the finalboss because he represents what scott will become if he never changes. He's a moral lesson about accountability and responsibility and getting out of your bubble to better yourself as a person....by showing what happens if you DON'T do those things.
The anime better do it justice where we see a fight of Scott fighting off Gideon's eldritch abomination form just like in the Scott pilgrim game!

The first ANT-MAN was fairly decent, though very standard and formulaic
But if Edgar Wright had done it, it would've been groundbreaking

Imo he’s probably why the first Ant Man was good. Cuz after being removed, he had no involvement with the other 2 movie sequels and those sucked.

I think that after Scott Pilgrim has been watched, it's only natural to watch Edgar Wright's Cornetto trilogy. Hot Fuzz specially is a gold mine of memes and comedy.

The Clash at Demonhead song is my favorite because it's a great song by Metric, with some fresh vocals by Brie Larson that just fit so well.
Going into this movie blind was some of the most fun I had watching a movie. Like I didn’t know anything. So imagine my surprise when it actually had amazing fight scenes, or when Chris Evans and Brie Larson showed up😭. God I wish I could watch this for the first time again.

Gonna be honest, i haven't watched too much spilling the milk since i subscribed back when the channel blew up. I do feel that how great Scott Pilgrim is carries a bit of the entertainment value for me, but this video does reminds me of why i subscribed, and a reason to stay subscribe.
This video was a bit of a make or break for me, they passed.
This franchise is so insane bro, I think it’s one of the only comics to get not only a great movie, but also a great game and a probably great anime.

I picked to watch this movie when I was 12 and my mom will never allow me to pick a movie to watch again. It was family movie night back when that still happened.
I think one of the few things that's actually improved in the movie is Gideon. In the comics, his buildup is a little bit better, but once you get to him as a character in the final book he's kind of just an evil asshole. Jason Schwartzman plays him with so much hilarious and fun assholery and it's definitely an improvement in my opinion. Im excited to see his iteration in the anime, it seems like he'll be a lot more menacing but I hope Jason still gets to do his thing.
