  • This March, TEFAF Maastricht edition returned in full force with 270 exhibitors in its original time slot (last year, it happened in June due to COVID). The fair mainly features antiques, but there is also a modern and contemporary section. This time, I spent more time at the fair and spoke with several galleries, a small sampling of each. Molly Dorkin Taylor of Dickinson Gallery, Alexandre Pingel of Pingel Rare Books, Vanessa Wildenstein of Wildenstein & Company Co., and Charles Geoffrion of Galerie Mennour gave me an overview of their galleries and the current offerings.
I also met officials of the TEFAF organization. Paul van den Biesen spoke about the work of the TEFAF Museum Restoration Fund. And last but not least, I got to talk to the chairman of TEFAF executive board, Hidde van Seggelen.

Great video Jane. I enjoyed visiting TEFAF this year. One small point, you mention the first printed map (at 5 mins into the video) as being made by Peter Loslein in 1483. The first printed map was a T-O map of Isidore of Seville printed in 1472 by Gunther Zainer in Augsburg.

Не думала, что кто-то там смотрит. А что именно, Вы думаете, было бы интересно русско-язычной аудитории? Я в основном делаю обзоры выставок. Спасибо за комментарий.
